Betty works overtime to get the attention of her cute neighbor, struggling musician Jesse (guest star Val Emmich). Meanwhile, Betty’s life gets even more complicated when a maxed out and suddenly homeless Amanda becomes her temporary roommate. And in other Mode developments, Marc vacillates when Cliff (guest star David Blue) wants them to move in together.

This is pretty fascinating. TV guide caught up with America Ferrera at the Season 3 Premiere Party, and asked her some pretty good questions about where Ugly Betty is going in season 3:
America pretty much plays the politician throughout most of the interview, giving very generic answers, but at the end, she gives a hint about what will happen with the Val Emmich character.
