I don’t know what the heck this means.  ABC issued a press release saying that the 2-hour season premiere of Ugly Betty has been moved back a week to October 16th.
I have no idea what their reasoning is (some big competing event?  something big on cable?), but I’m pretty angry about this.  How many times can they jack around Ugly Betty fans with scheduling changes?  We are very loyal, but this is ridiculous!

Well, now we can really feel the new season of Ugly Betty is upon us.  ABC has released the title and synopsis for each hour of the 2-hour October 9 season premiere.
The first hour will it titled "The Butterfly Effect" Part 1 .  Here is the synopsis (there’s a LOT going on):
Betty finds that everything is changing as she begins her new job as associate features editor, especially since her boss is her ex-boyfriend, Matt Hartley, who is still unhappy about their breakup. Interestingly, Betty’s season premiere will air on October 9th at 9/8c, a week or two after most of the network’s other premieres.  The first regular showing after the two hour episode will be Friday, October 16.
I wonder if the two hour episode will be two episodes back-to-back.  I’m guessing this is the case – this, along with the back-to-back 2-hour finale episode, makes up a little for the episodes lost during the WGA strike.  This puts the show that much closer to …read more
