Jamie Lynn Sigler recently spoke to TV Guide about her recurring role as Natalie on Ugly Betty.  Much of it we fans already know (although it’s interesting to hear Sigler’s take on it), but there are a few things that have been dangling “out there” that she gives answers about.

Not only is Ugly Betty traveling to the Bahamas, they are taking Shakira with them!  Not only that, but 80’s iconic model Christie Brinkley will guest star in the same episode!
According to TV Guide, Shakira will play herself.
Silvio Horta says the Colombian pop star happens to be in the Bahamas at the same time as the Mode crew and plays a pivotal role in helping save the day after things go awry.
And, it looks like Justin, will be in the Bahamas, too! "Justin’s the one who knows [Shakira's] alias," Horta reveals.  (That’s hilarious!)

The great Lynn Redgrave will guest star on Ugly Betty’s 2-hour season premiere October 9th, TV Guide Magazine reports.
Much-acclaimed Redgrave will appear as Olivia, a jewelry designer whom Betty meets while Betty is working on a story as Mode’s new features editor.
Olivia, Redgrave’s eccentric character, designs beautiful ornaments that look like bugs. As she shares her story, Olivia inspires Betty to come out of her own cocoon and blossom in her appearance.

Ugly Betty’s Ralph Macchio recently tweeted about a video I didn’t know existed.  It’s a spot for the Starz Network show Head Case, and it uses Ralph’s youthful appearance to great comedic effect:

 
Head Case is a comedy television show starring Alexandra Wentworth as, Dr. Elizabeth Goode, a Los Angeles psychologist who treats celebrities, though she has issues of her own.

Brooklyn Decker, the 22 year old model and wife of tennis star Andy Roddick is going to have an appearance on an upcoming episode of Ugly Betty.
According to Page Six, the beauty just signed to play Betty’s co-worker, Lexie, We have no further info on the role at this point.

Ugly Betty is going to be chasing pavements this May.  Grammy Award-winning soul singer Adele will guest star in an episode in May, our friends at TV Guide have reported.
According to the Guide, she’s going to play herself in an episode entitled, “In The Stars”.  (No word on the episode number, but it has to be 22, 22, or 23).  In this episode, Betty, Marc and Matt oversee a photo shoot for a YETI assignment that turns into an impromptu wedding.

Ralph Macchio has given several interviews about his role on Ugly Betty lately, and it really seems like he’s having a ball playing Archie Rodriguez on the show. Certainly he’s not complaining about the idea of romantic scenes with Ana Ortiz.
