It’s official: supermodel Naomi Campbell will appear in the Ugly Betty season 2 finale. This will be the episode with the company softball game – and should be an absolute hoot. A representative for ABC confirmed Wednesday that Campbell would play herself.

Becki Newton says, “She’s going to be in our last episode, which is exciting. I’ve personally requested that I don’t stand next to her because Amanda would not like to be seen with such a tall, pretty person.”

Of course, that’s ridiculous, but there’s no denying Campbell has some pretty stunning good looks. Newton did not say, however, if she and Campbell would share any scenes.

I’ve got to wonder if they’ll make reference to Campbell’s recent “incident”, in which she was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of assaulting an officer after police were called to a disturbance at Heathrow Airport in London. Please, please,please let her have a hissy fit and spit on an umpire!

Campbell was originally going to appear last season, but that never materialised. Then of course, we had the unfortunate WGA strike.

I am so looking forward to this. Campbell starred in my favorite commercial during the Super Bowl this year:
