She beat out Keesha Sharp (Girlfriends), Tonye Patano – Weeds, Vivica A. Fox (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Game). Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera and Vanessa L. Williams will appear on the 39th Annual NAACP IMAGE Awards on Thursday, February 14th.   The awards will be broadcast live 8:00 – 10:00 PM ET (PT-Tape Delayed) on FOX.
Ferrera and Williams will join Jordin Sparks, Regina Taylor and Richard T. Jones in appearing on the special broadcast, along with previously announced honorees Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder. Other performers and artists appearing will be announced closer to the air date.
