Ana Ortiz joined her Ugly Betty cast mates America Ferrera (who hosted) and Mark Indelicato at the third annual “Hot In Hollywood’ gala this past weekend. She was casually beautiful.

Very rarely do I see Ortiz with Ferrera and think, “they seem like sisters”. (It always bugged me that Hilda and Betty do not have the same accent – I know, I know, it’s a TV show…). Anyway, there is a photo in this set where the two do indeed look very much like sisters.

America Ferrera hosted the bigtime gala fundraiser Hot in Hollywood over the weekend, and each year the show seems to get bigger and bigger. The Ugly Betty star Ferrera looked beautiful in green: this is a good color on her.

America was joined on stage by Ugly Betty co-stars Ana Ortiz, Tony Plana and Mark Indelicato (more on this later). All in all, the fundraiser was a success, raising oodles of money for various AIDS charities.

America Ferrera is going to HOST this year’s Hot In Hollywood gala fundraiser, according to a report in US Magazine. We told you in August about the Ugly Betty star’s performance at the last event – along with cast mates Micheal Urie and Becki Newton, and Rebecca Romijn’s husband Jerry O’Connell.

America Ferrera, Becki Newton and Michael Urie will be performing at the 2nd Annual Hot In Hollywood 2007 benefit for AIDS charities on August 18.  The event is hosted by Jaime Pressley of “My Name is Earl”.
According to the blog for the event, America Ferrera will be singing, and as I’ve said before, that’s something I’d pay money to see.  I wish could be in Hollywood this weekend!
