One thing lost in all the ship speculation from the Ugly Betty episode 2.14 (24 Candles) promo is that it looks like Amanda (Tanen-Sommers-Simmons) is going to go through another “phase”. Now that she’s found her Dad (Gene Simmons), it would seem that Amanda is going to do what she always does – go overboard.

I KNEW this would show up pretty quickly, because the most popular segments of Ugly Betty involve Amanda Singing. This is from episode 2.13, A Thousand Words By Friday. I think what makes it so funny is that Becki Newton really can sing, and her attempts to sing off-key are even more pronounced, yet her voice is still under control.

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons has issued the following update:
“On Monday, December 3rd, I’m shooting ‘Ugly Betty’ — not her…the show. Can’t tell you just yet who I’m playing or what it’s about. But it might give you a chuckle. On Tuesday, December 4th, going over to do Miss Chelsea Handler’s show on E! entertainment TV. We will post air dates.”
Let me tell you what I think this means:
