I guess our questions about the return of David Blue and his character Cliff to Ugly Betty have been answered.

AfterElton has a very good post about the evolution of “the gay character” on television. It’s pretty interesting, and surprisingly, lists Ugly Betty’s Cliff as the pinnacle of the evolution of the gay character.
Of course, they’re right. I think that Cliff’s character may be the most groundbreaking aspect of the show, and that’s saying something. Think about the ways in which Ugly Betty is groundbreaking:
It features a nuclear latino family.
The head of that family is not the stereotypical uber-macho man.
The patriarch is (well, was) an illegal immigrant.

Mark Indelicato looks cool (although he’s so skinny I think David Blue needs to take that boy out for a few cheeseburgers), Tony Plana looks CLASSIC, we’ve already seen that David Blue cleans up pretty good, and chris Gorham is quite hansdsome here.

Ugly Betty’s David Blue, Mark Indelicato, Ana Ortiz, Tony Plana, and Vanessa Williams were scheduled to appear in the 16th Annual Weekend At Sardi’s tonight. This year’s entertainment was “Selections from Bye Bye Birdie”. It was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
I guess since the cast didn’t get to participate in the musical episode this year, this is the next best thing.

David Blue, who plays photographer Cliff St. Paul, love interest to Marc on Ugly Betty, is starring in a new national television advertisement for Subway, and it’s pretty funny. This isn’t the first time Subway has done the whole “you’re getting a bunch of stuff you don’t want when you order fast food” angle before, but it’s just so darned funny when delivered in the so darned cute style of Blue.

According to his Myspace site, there are also radio spots.

David Blue, who plays the utterly likeable Cliff on Ugly Betty, will have an upcoming gig on the show Moonlight, in what may be the most interesting character I’ve ever seen.  Blue will play a “vampire computer hacker/wizard”, in a 2-episode arc.
I can so see this: Blue as computer hacker, with the added bonus of being a vampire!  He will help Mick on  at least one case.  His character, named Logan will first appear in January.

Wow, this is horrible!  David Blue, who plays the absolutely charming Cliff (love interest to Marc) on Ugly Betty, was mugged at gunpoint last night/this morning, after an Ugly Betty wrap party.  Here is what Blue wrote at his MySpace blog:
