Some lines just sound funnier when America Ferrera delivers them. I love when the writers have Betty declare that something “sucks”. It just sounds funny coming from Betty’s high-pitched voice. “There’s just not a pooper scooper big enough” is another one of those lines.

I also love the “reliable internet sources” line. If you’ve discussed things on the internet for any period of time, you’ve heard the definition of insanity, along with Godwin’s Law and other cliches.

The interaction between Eric Mabius and America Ferrera could not be more perfect. I do agree with some critics that the whole “Daniel hitting rock bottom” story line is a little over used, but Ugly Betty needs that element where Betty “takes care” of Daniel. They are just too good together in that capacity.

All in all, Betty’s Baby Bump was one of my favorite episodes of Betty this year.

Many times the over-the-top drama in Ugly Betty is reminiscent of the telenovelas that inspired the show. But THIS reminds me of Dynasty, and the battles of Krystle and Alexis. It’s SO over the top, its premise so ridiculous, yet it draws us in; we can’t look away!

The sonogram on the wall may be one of the greatest entrance devices I’ve ever seen. Vanessa Williams has really found her element playing Wilhelmina as such a deliciously evil villian.

Hopefully, the Lindsay Lohan guest appearance news will get new viewers to watch Ugly Betty to see what all the hubbub is about. I think this episode is going to highlight the best that Betty has to offer.

First off, I love seeing Amanda with this group of women. She almost seems comfortable (but still her usual self).

Secondly, is it just me, or have they made Charlie much more overtly mean? In season 1, you couldn’t tell if she was evil or just inconveniently clueless. This season, she’s Wilhemina with a non-hostile womb.

It does make for much more fun confrontations, though, as we see in this video.

• A good shot of the handsome Mr Cibrian.

• I don’t know – it doesn’t look like Hilda meant to mess up to me!
• Umm…yeah…Ms Ortiz is absolutely gorgeous with her hair colored a little darker.

Dang it – I really liked Renee (or at least Gabrielle Union). Of course it had to end, but it’s just sad to see it in writing. Apparently, her crack-up in episode 2.15 (Burning Questions) is going to mean the end of the relationship.
