Becki Newton In August Rush

Here is video of Ugly Betty’s Becki Newton appearing as Jennifer in the movie August Rush (2007).
It’s a small role, but it’s interesting to see Newton showing off her dramatic chops. Usually in Ugly Betty, she is doing something strange, or mean, or wacky, and others (Betty, Henry, Gio, Daniel) look at her as if she’s lost her mind. In this clip, the roles are reversed.
I would really love to see Becki on the big screen in a comedy, or even and action flick. That’s not to say she’s not mesmerizing as a dramatic actress, though. …read more
