She beat out Keesha Sharp (Girlfriends), Tonye Patano – Weeds, Vivica A. Fox (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Game). This may very well be the year Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera catapults from television star to full-blown superstar.  The latest evidence of this on the March cover of Vanity Fair.  This is their “Hollywood” issue.  The theme this year is “Fresh Faces”

If you’ve seen this issue of the magazine before, you know that the cover extends into a fold-out, featuring all of the ones VF has proclaimed Hollywood’s new “it” girls.

Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera graces the December cover of Marie Claire, and she is absolutely gorgeous! (Click pic for high rez!)

This is America in her natural glory: no image-altering hanky panky, ala “The Box and The Bunny“.  I swear, the girl is drop-dead gorgeous.

These pics are incredible!  I know Becki Newton is married, and Michael Urie refuses to talk about his romantic life or sexual orientation, but these two make an absolutely beautiful couple.  Becki Newton is drop-dead gorgeous (even in a fat suit, I think).  I think the chemistry between Urie and Newton is one of the est things about Ugly Betty.

Here are some promotional photos of America Ferrera that actually look like her. And, surprise, surprise – she is beautiful without the assistance of Photoshop. This will dovetail beautifully with her upcoming profile.

Ferrera appears confident, gorgeous, and slightly dismissive of the viewer: all key elements to the classic definition of sexy. Life imitates art, but usually only ironically.  Such is the case this month, as America Ferrera is on the cover of Glamour magazine!

And what do you know?  Just like the actress in The Box and The Bunny, Ferrera has been photoshopped to be somewhat skinnier.  It’s not horribly drastic, but apparent, nonetheless.  Especially if you look at another photo of Ferrera from the magazine:

It’s not like we need to be reminded of Rebecca Romjin’s stunning beauty, or the fact that she came from the glitzy world of modeling; nevertheless, here are some beautiful shots of Rebecca in a spread for Bebe. 
Sigh.  The cast of Ugly Betty makes for some very eye-appealing photos.  It’s a rough job, but I do it for you ;)
