Ugly Betty Episode 4.08 Promo Pics!

Let’s take a break from all the Ugly Betty ratings/schedule/ending craziness (yes, I know Lost is not going to Wednesdays – but ABC hasn’t announced what IS, as far as I know).
Let’s skip an episode – we have all week to talk about episode 4.07, Level(7) With Me. Here is a cool video someone assembled from the promo pics for episode 4.08, The Bahamas Triangle (Warning -MUCHO SPOILERS!).
Warning to the hearing-enabled: this has a Shakira soundtrack. 
Everyone looks incredible. Vanessa Williams is gorgeous as usual. Is that one-piece Becki Newton wearing at the :40 mark incredible or what? It looks like they let Pat Field and crew go nuts.
One question I have: is this AFTER Daniel’s cult de-programming, or do you think the trip IS Daniel’s de-programming? He just looks so lost in many of the photos.
The 1920’s flashback scene looks like it will be awesome.
Bigtime spoilers happening at the 2:12 mark. Funny, the promo pics I’ve seen of Connor in the Bahamas had him kissing Wilhelmina on the beach – this is quite different. I can’t WAIT to see how this plays out.
I did not see Matt Newton (Troy) in any of the photos – did I miss him? (although the pic at 1:06 is probably from a scene between Troy and Marc – he looks quite enamored).
This is going to be the most incredible episode!

Mode gets manipulated tonight on Ugly Betty, and our heroine definitely isn’t happy about it. Judging from the title (and my knowledge of danger levels), the company risks being controlled by an external force difficult to exterminate. In other words, Mode’s in trouble with the Community of the Phoenix running the show.
On “Level (7) With Me,” Daniel (Eric Mabius) blindly agrees to letting the Community’s leaders have its way with Mode. With Bennett (guest star Dylan Baker) promising to reunite him with his dead wife, it’s as though anything is possible. Such as sabotage.
Betty (America Ferrera) worries about the state of her friend and springs into action to save him as usual. But she won’t be doing it alone. She decides to scheme around with Claire (Judith Light) in order to help Daniel and the two come up with an ingenious plan.
Soon, Betty rallies up both Matt (Daniel Eric Gold) and Amanda (Becki Newton) to accomplish the task. The three become allies, surprisingly, and it looks like there’s still hope for Daniel. However, it won’t be that simple. The Community just won’t go down without a fight.
On the other end of the Ugly Betty spectrum, a defeated Wilhelmina (Vanessa Williams) just lets herself go. She’s given up on trying to keep up appearances and has been seen wearing sweats and garden clogs in public. The press erupts in joy at this tabloid-worthy tale, and it’s up to Marc (Michael Urie) to control the situation.
As his boss – and friend, even though she won’t admit it – sinks deeper into ruin, Marc decides to dig deeper into the mystery. He won’t give up until he finds out just what Nico (YaYa DaCosta) is keeping secret.
Also joining the regular cast tonight is Jamie-Lynn Sigler as Natalie, Alec Mapa as Suzuki St. Pierre, Sarah LaFleur as Molly and Piter Marek as Oskar Castelar. Don’t miss the new episode of Ugly Betty titled “Level (7) With Me” as it airs at 9pm on ABC.
i hope that this is natalie’s LAST episode…

No, Matt Newton isn’t in any of those pictures. I did see one picture of him (I’m pretty sure) among the set of Michael Urie beach pictures that were posted a while back, but he had his back turned to the camera.
It seems as if this might be the last we see of Connor, after the commandos take him away.

This is where I’d normally whine about ABC’s uneven treatment of this site, but I’ll spare you.

I think most of the cast went to the Bahamas for this episode since the episode is around the a photo shoot. I think maybe with the exception of Betty’s family. I kinda wonder though there was something I read that Shakira is playing herself, but she is there incognito & the only one who knows is Justin in which she will help Betty salvage her photo shoot.
From the photos looks like Amanda will have her moment with Matt, but I think Matt will not feel the same & I think he will tell her that he still has feelings for Betty.

You’re welcome!! I guess we will have to wait until that episode gets closer. Maybe other sites will have better pictures. Although Matt & Betty don’t look to happy in those pictures. I’m guessing something will happen in the Bahamas episode for them to be together.

Really? You don’t think Matt looks happy in the xmas pics? I think he looks pretty happy. He’s all smiling in them and he looks really cute sitting next to betty. but then again, it’s kinda hard to see expressions in a uber tiny pic.
I figured the writers were gonna wait until matt and betty were in an exotic location like the Bahamas for them to reconcile. THis is my senario:
Amanda is going to still try to get with Matt (hence the pics of her and Matt eatting dinner alone and matt looking uncomfortable) and she is going to try to hit on him. Matt is going to realize that Amanda likes him and he is going to reject her (hence the picture of her walking from the table looking sat with a wine bottle in her hand and matt still at the table). Then matt is going to realize that he still want to be with Betty and they will kiss. And then in the next episode is the xmas and matt is going to spend it with betty’s family.
What do you think of my senario? I guess we’ll have to wait several episodes to see how accurate i am (i can’t wait till they get together!!!!!!!!!!)

For the Bahamas eppy, i think Matt will plan a romantic dinner on the beach and leave a note in the hotel room for Betty but somehow maybe Amanda thinks its for her and goes to the dinner instead. Definitely agree with Andrea that’s probably how the rest of the scenario plays out.
Fort the Christmas eppy, things must be going well for Matt and Betty for Betty to think she’s pregnant (going to drugstore for pregnancy test) which means her and Matt must be having sex again. Yay! In the pics of them sitting together, they might look uncomfortable probably b/c the pharmacy lady is with them for Christmas and they don’t want Betty’s father to know about the pregnancy test purchase. Don’t know just speculating….so excited for the Betty and Matt goodness…finally!
I am very happy to see so many people happy for Matt and Betty. I was beginning to think I was the only one.
Betty and Hilda each has a pregnancy scare in the ninth episode, the one that comes right after the Bahamas episode, so I’m thinking that Betty and Matt must be hooking up in the Bahamas. I guess it’s possible that Betty gets busy with someone else, but that doesn’t seem like something she would do.

Lol, you might be right about the whole matt setting up the dinner. I dunno. I just figured that Amanda asked Matt to have dinner and she sees it as a date so she makes a romantic dinner for them, but he sees it as just a dinner. But your idea sounds cute too! I like the idea of Matt trying to get back with Betty.
Lol, this pregnanacy scare episode sounds interesting. I dunno how I feel about Betty being apart of it though. I’m willing to see how it will play out though. I see more of Hilda’s character having to experience something like that. And I guess that def and indication that Betty and Matt are together!!! YEAHHHHHH, since I don’t think Betty will sleep with random guys.
Man, I can’t imagine what would happen with the show if Betty really does become pregnant and Matt is the father. woooooahhhhhhhhhh………

But i’ve been reading a couple of things about matt leaving the show soon…is that true do you think? why would they make him a regular only for him to leave so soon! or do you think they’ve (the writers) got more in store for them as a couple despite the supposed departure? i hope its not true. chris gorham (henry) once said in an interview that for a couple to have longevity on screen, they have/need loads of obstacles to try and keep them apart for a while…i hope thats all it is and that if matt is leaving, it wont be for too long! they should be THE couple of the show!

Thats what i read…..whats really interesting is when Ausiello says ‘beyond that my lips are sealed’….could that mean that matts character is not permenantly removed from the show?? who knows! all i can say is that im dead excited to see what happens between the pair… i mean come on…the US version is not exactly following in the same path as the original spanish version so who is to say that they wont be a pair in the end! matts character is very similar to the ‘boss’ character in the spanish ugly betty (who is daniel).. the issues with his fanily, his sex addiction (numerous women), filthy rich and he’s technically her boss..so lets wait and see…
