Ugly Betty Episode 4.05 Sneak Peek #1

Here is a sneak peek of Ugly Betty episode 4.05, Plus None. This one really gets the Detty on.

Betty and Daniel meet at the elevator; Daniel is heading to his group meeting, we don’t know what Betty is doing, but she seems to be leaving for the day.
Daniel tells Betty how “the group” is helping him cope with losing Molly. He then says he notices she and Matt have been “chummy” lately. He asks if “there’s anything (about them) she’d like to report".
Betty hems and haws, then mentions that the two of them (Daniel and Betty) have their first “non-professional, just friends” lunch.
Betty then tells him that she’s going to help him find a new assistant, and Daniel says “how could I ever replace you?”
Daniel seems a little uncomfortable throughout this clip. It would be interesting to know the circumstances immediately beforehand.
One other noticeable thing, for me, is the lack of Jeff Beal’s background music. There is hardly ever a scene, and never a scene where two people meet, where there isn’t music, so I’m assuming the clip was created before post-production. But, that’s just a guess – maybe they’ve had more “music-less” scenes in the past than I’ve noticed.
Anyway, it’s great to see the producers give a tip of the hat to the Detty fans in the episode, airing this Friday at 9/8c.

I wish the producers would give us Detty fans a tip of the hat.They don’t care about what we want.lol.You should see the Buddy tv poll about whether Daniel and Betty should be together.Its currently 71% in favour of Detty .Not that the writers will notice or care.Btw Tom ,do you know who Tyler is? He is going to be a major reoccuring part.
See,no matter how many ppl want the two of them to end up together,it’d be just weird to me. Now I now that I might the only one thinking like that but c’mon…Even though the plot of the Betty la Fea is that in the end,she’s with her boss,happy ending but our Betty’s way different than the others..I don’t know if you’ve seen other versions of Betty but I for one have and seriously they’re sooo much cheesier! The german one for example where she’s actually in love with their Daniel at the right beginning is really appaling. I had the sense that UB, however really stood out because it was not only funny but kind of ..witty. To me,it’d be just too typical that they’d end up together…
Okay,that was my rant of the day! Will stop now,haha.
