Ugly Betty Episode 4.03 Promo

Here is the promo for Ugly Betty episode 4.03, “Blue on Blue”, set to air this Friday, Oct 23 at 9/8c.
The promo doesn’t tell a whole lot about what might happen, except for one intriguing split-second visual: Matt entering somewhere (I’m assuming a restaurant) arm-in-arm with Amanda. This, to me, is a very interesting pairing, although I’m sure it’s not going to be a long term ship.
It looks like it will be part of a bigger plan hatched by Wilhelmina / Marc to throw Betty off her game. But, I also have to wonder, is Matt the “more” that Amanda was wanting out of life after seeing her future through the temp?
I hope not – I like Amanda, and Matt has become totally unlikeable (by design). I was really hoping Amanda would use her new motivation to get in over her head somewhere (I thought community college would be awesome for her).
As an aside, I think it would be hilarious if in the series finale (whenever that happens), Amanda turns out to be some kind of super-genius who has been playing dumb. Yes, it’s a lot like the Suzuki St Pierre story, but I still think it would be funny.
Otherwise, it looks like there will be lots of Betty-sabotaging in this episode. There’s no hint of any Justin or Suarez story line, although certainly there will be one. Maybe we’ll see it in the sneak peeks, when they become available?

Tom, Silvio stated that during the Bahamas episode, as we know, Betty, Matt, and an UNNAMED third party would be involved. He also recently said he’s surprised we haven’t figured it out yet. Do you believe that perhaps Amanda IS the 3rd person in this love triangle, and they will be hinting at it? That definitely would destroy the remaining friendship Betty and Amanda have. I mean after all, she is clinging to Matt’s arm in the 4.03 promo, and it’s obviously someone we already know.
And what about a Matt-Mark-Betty love triangle?
Mark could totally fall in love with this evil version of Matt, don’t you think?
I’m beginning to think it might be Amanda..it was mentioned that she was going to have an unrequited crush on someone possibly Matt??? If it’s going to be an eventual love triangle in the Bahamas epi. will it be Betty’s feelings for Matt surface again or will Matt realize that he still has feelings for Betty??

Not looking forward to Betty and Amanda fighting over Matt of all people.It shame that writers only use for Amanda is to be the interloper for the not very popular Matt/Betty pairing.
if it is amanda, then i’ll be appalled. as things stand i wasn’t entirely impressed by the season 4 opener, and i sure as hell won’t be impressed if this turns out to be true as well.
gosh, i hate the writers who came up with the idea. matt with amanda? HELL NO! i love amanda, she was great last season especially but this just blows, plus why does it have to be with matt?

I hate that they might be pairing Matt & Betty.It would ruin Betty & Amanda’s frienship.This is a horrible idea!
I really don’t think Amanda going to dinner with Matt has any of romantic, I guess it’s just part of Marc scheming aganist Betty. Considering that yet in season premiere Amanda has be shown in the middle of this two, maybe something interesting could come out.
Whatever it is, it certainly won’t be long-term. Amanda learned her lesson last season about moving in on Betty’s guys with the whole Jesse debacle; she was near tears when Betty called her out on it and went to great lengths to get back into her good graces. Amanda as we know her now wouldn’t betray Betty intentionally. I’m thinking that she and Matt are at the restaurant for a common purpose, maybe to intervene on Betty’s behalf/observe. The only way I’d see Amanda sleeping with him is if they were drunk, which may well happen, but I don’t see Amanda intentionally moving in on Betty’s guy.

It has to be Amanda.It would be too good to be true (atleast for me ) for it to be Daniel.Silvio Horta hinted it was someone we alreday knew.
I don’t see anyting good about this upcomming triangle. I miss Amanda and Betty presduo friendship that will be gone forever. Not looking foward too two wondeful girls fighting over my least favorite guy on the whole show.Why should Amanda be left with Betty’s leftover’s and why should Betty have to get back with Matt
