Funny Ralph Macchio ‘Head Case’ Video

Ugly Betty’s Ralph Macchio recently tweeted about a video I didn’t know existed. It’s a spot for the Starz Network show Head Case, and it uses Ralph’s youthful appearance to great comedic effect:
Head Case is a comedy television show starring Alexandra Wentworth as, Dr. Elizabeth Goode, a Los Angeles psychologist who treats celebrities, though she has issues of her own.
From some of the other clips I’ve seen on YouTube, this is funny stuff. Steve Landesberg is in it – that’s enough for me! And the list of celebrities who line up for Dr Goode’s therapy in season three is impressive: Jerry Seinfeld, Spice Girl Geri Halliwell, SNL alum Kevin Nealon, “Survivor” host Jeff Probst and Playboy’s Hugh Hefner with one time girlfriend Bridget Marquardt.

As for Macchio, it’s interesting, nobody on Ugly Betty has really talked about Archie’s age. Is Macchio playing a character much younger than he is in real life? Hilda is supposedly in her early 30’s – if Archie is Macchio’s age, he’s 47. Not that the show hasn’t had its share of May-December romances. But, it’s just funny that the writers have used Macchio’s boyish appearance to their advantage. Hilda and Archie look like they belong together, and we never really think if there is an age difference between the two.
Anyway, I can’t wait to see what the writers do with Archie in season four!
I actually occasionally go to Macchio’s twitter page just to see what he’s up to and he seems like such a nice person. He is a FANTASTIC addition to the cast and he acts so well alongside Ana’s character Hilda. I hope that he becomes a permanent addition to the cast at some point, but maybe he’s not right now since he is just so busy with everything else that he has going on professionally in his life.
In one of his tweet posts, he mentioned that by watching the Born Identity (I’m assuming that this was the episode that he’s referring to), you have a good idea of what’s in store for his character in season 4. So, I guess his political career will be a big focus for the character in season 4 and it will be exciting to see how the Suarezes fit into all that.
Wonder what they’re going to do with this mob-like sexy queens guy they’re bringing on the show (EW Ausiello reported). Could create a fun triangle for Hilda. She’s always attracted to bad boys in the past. But Archie HAS to win in the end!! And dying to know if Archie wins his campaign too. Hopefully there’s lots of juicy stuff for Macchio this season. I love Hilda and want her to end up with a good man!! They make a great couple!
