New Ugly Betty Pics: Betty And Matt Kiss!

So, these new Ugly Betty set pics from Central Park come out, and I can’t decide what’s bigger news: the fact that they show Betty in costume, and she still looks for the most part like “Betty”, or the fact that they show Betty (America Ferrera) and Matt (Daniel Eric Gold) Kissing!
And here we were thinking they were over.
But, not so fast. This set does have a kiss, but some of the pics look quite contentious between the two. So, I guess the question is, which comes first? Is it a fight that ends with a kiss? Or a kiss that becomes a fight? Or maybe I’m just totally misreading the pics?
As we all know, fraternization between a boss and employee usually doesn’t end well. But, I guess we’ll see.
Daniel Eric Gold almost doesn’t look like himself with the new haircut. It makes him look like less of a ne’er do well slacker and more grownup. I’ll leave it to the experts as to whether it makes Matt more attractive.
As for Betty, my fears that she would change too fast are eased a little. Her hair is calmed, but it still is believable as Betty’s. The eyebrows are a little trimmed. The glasses are still there, and I think the braces are too (I’m 99% sure of this). And (I think this is hugely important to the integrity of the show) she hasn’t become a size zero waif. If Betty had starved herself to fit in at editor as at Mode, she would be lost and the raison d’etre for the show would be gone.
Oh, and although the pics in this post don’t show it, Betty IS wearing some horrendous yellow socks in this scene. Fashion-wise, almost there, but not quite.
She’s still hot though, but I thought that last season

Sure he looks more grown up and boyish. That’s the Gio/Daniel haircut. So he looks sort of manly. I hope his acting has also improved.
Of course the big news the Betty new look because we already knew that Horta had plans to “throw obstacle” in the most boring and unappealing relationship any producer could ever create. And now that he is a regular we have to be stuck with his lame character… Let them have it their way.
What is Betty teaching our young girls? that it’s okay to fall in love with cheaters, selfish guys or men she can’t have or that despise her fully? Way to go Betty. I hope most your viewers have an unhappy romantic life just like you.
By the way. I wish there were pictures of Gio Rossi. Now that would have been news. But thanks, Tom.
I also wear my hair that way. 
and the dress. I can breathe now. She’s still the simple girl from Queen with big dreams. I thought they were going to make her a Mode Girl who only thought of shoes and designer clothes. She looks cute in this picture. I think they are making her look more like previous seasons (with more matching sense) and not season-3-horrendous.
At least Betty looks cute. With her new chemically straightened hair. She does look very latina with it.

As someone who likes Matt and finds his character and story line interesting, and who also finds Daniel Eric Gold’s acting to be perfectly fine (don’t hate me, Beatrice B… we usually agree on so much), I am glad to see these pictures. Thanks, Tom.
I hope not if Betty might dream with Matt make she fall love in with him or it is real kiss but we will find out in season 4 before they get back together again.

omg!!!!!!!!! i love matt/betty, kinda want matt to be the one…..i know he is at times very awkward, but the whole boss thing and new look hopefully will make thing more interesting and better. oh and just hope they get back together mo matter the obstacles. daniel/betty…i can’t see them together, they just make too good of a friends, and i hope they don’t ruin that in the show.
My husband and I are new fans of UB. This ia the only show where we lol. We saw a few episodes of the 3rd season and got hooked. We have seen all the seasons now and we are addicted to the many storylines and characters. UG has great writers!!! Oh, btw I love matt/betty together. Can’t wait for the 4th season!!

I think if Betty and Matt don’t get back together I am going to lose my faith in this show. It seems so cruel that once she has someone good they take them away. Out of all three guys Matt is by far the best.
