Jaime Camil plays Armando much more comedy. I watched some episodes from the Mexican Ugly Betty (or Letty, whatever). That actor did an amazing job playing “Daniel”.

Watch some videos from him. That guy is funny.

I don’t know if you know this but, the original Colombian telenovela (Yo Soy Betty La Fea)is on channel 46 Telefutura (ch. 46 regular TV). Maybe you’d like to watch that?

Hey, I saw that video recently in youtube and I really liked it. Especially the hunk fest… man! the Armando/Daniel’s equivalents are hot no matter the country!!!
There are different concepts of Bettys all around the world. But I still think the US Betty doesn’t need to evolve to be Beautiful like most of the Betties. I believe, with the exception of the latest clothing clowning in season 3, Betty dresses like a normal person in her own style. The producers don’t try to make her seriously “ugly”… she’s just the representation of a minority (race, style, age, sex, brains, slightly overweight) in a world dominated by other standards. I think I still like the U.S. Betty (except for the season 3 Betty).
