Ugly Betty Set Photos in City Hall Park

The cast and crew of Ugly Betty have been busy, busy, busy lately. Not only did they have the Friday night filming at Citi Field, but they also did a bit of shooting at City Hall Park in Manhattan.

I LOVE this photo of America Ferrera as Betty – it’s now going to be my stock pic for good news stories.
Now, we don’t know if the celebratory feel in these photos is part of the plot, or if the actors were wrapping up shooting for the year and were just celebrating that.
This scene involved Ferrera, along with Michael Urie and Becki Newton. I know many of you think the show is focusing too much on the trio, but man, they are good together. Yes, they seem to have crossed that line where it doesn’t work when Amanda and Marc are mean to Betty, but there is a wonderful chemistry amongst them that really took off in episode 3.09, When Betty Met YETI, and I think the writers and producers recognized it.
Anyway Becki Newton is even prettier in the bright sun. Of all the bags, I prefer Marc’s. 
Finally, that top, for all of it’s clashy-ness, gives America a busty, Salma Hayek look. No complaints here.

Who complains about the trio? They are GOOD. All episodes with them together has had something more. So far, 1.04 “Fey’s sleight ride”, who was build in a large part on the trio, is still one of the best episodes they ever aired (and looking at some things, even THE best).

I have no idea who the hell’s complaining about the trio! Come on who doesn’t love them?? And Becki and Michael work wonderfully together (and along with America too).
I probably didn’t word that well. Where I’ve seen complaints is in discussion about the “focus” of the show (which seems to be what the writers have been tinkering with since 3.01) .
I think there were even some comments about it in the very active “Info about the season finale” post below. Or maybe it was the “Henry’s coming back post”. Anyway, they were in the last week or so.

i don’t understand why people are complaining about marc and amanda, as let’s face it, for me, they’re the main reason why i continue tuning into this show. plus, i love them this season- especially their friendship with betty which seems to be developing during this series.
After thinking about it, I think it would be a great idea for the writers of Ugly Betty to bring Fey Sommers back. We never really got that much proof that she was actually dead except for the news paper articles and what Claire said. Maybe Claire was drunk and just thought she killed Fey Sommers. Even Fey Sommers tomb was empty in Season 1, what was up with that? In season 2, I always somehow thought they would bring her back. It would be a wonderful cliffhanger and an even better plot development for season 4. Think about the plot lines it would create for Amanda and Claire. The season could even focus on a mystery sort of thing like in season 1 (With Alexis as the mysterious woman.)
Who else agrees that it would be wonderful for them to bring Fey Sommers back. We could then see Claire at her best! =D

I’ve always had a suspicion that Fey will be back. The body was not found. I thought they’d already do it by now.
Inspiring Betty photo–I love it. I also love the interaction of the terrific trio. I also thought that at some point Fey would return! I don’t know when they are saving it for. The final season?
