Ugly Betty Episode 3.16 Live Blog
February 26, 2009 by Tom
It’s Thursday again – time for our weekly live blog of Ugly Betty. Join us as we watch and comment on the latest episode. This week’s episode is 3.16, “Things Fall Apart”.
Betty makes a surprising discovery when an assignment from YETI finds her and Marc analyzing Mode’s budget for the past year. Meanwhile she has to deal with increased attention from Matt (tastefully three-named Daniel Eric Gold) and the knowledge that old flame Henry has posted some unexpected news on Facebook.
Lot’s going on – we revisit the old and begin the new. I’ve checked – ABC has NOT set up a Facebook account for Henry Grubstick (although there are about 3 or 4 of them there). It would have been awesome if they had. There is one there that isn’t public (in NY), maybe they’ll release it tonight if it’s related to the show.
Come and join us tonight at 8/7c!

Dude! Can we stop with the tastefully? If you must comment on the fact that an actor has three names every time they’re mentioned, could you at least rotate the adjectives.
Heh. I’ve been waiting or somebody to call me on it.
Just a little Greg Esterbrook (one of my favortie writers) tribute – I’ll quit now.
Alirght, whew.. Lemme catch my breath. …Ugly Betty raised my blood pressure tonight. (2/26/09) Yup.
……lol.
This episode was exhilarating. Really a very good one!
This episode certainly was dramatic, but IMO, not as great or as fun as some of the other ones this season – like “When Betty Met YETI” or “There’s No Place Like Mode”, for instance. Although I was prepared for it, I certainly was not thrilled by the fact that Connor warped into evil incarnate.
Hi all. I know it is a bit late to add a comment. But I am from Singapore. I get my weekly Betty later than the US. I just watched the episode. That must have been the worst Betty episode of season 3. All that happened was just too sudden. Ok, Connor siphoning the money may be a possible plotline. But to convince Willimina (whom throw her dog sense of a common sense away for a schmuck?) to elope with him? Come on! That is just highly NOT plausible. I know this is just a show. But at least don’t insult the viewers! The way whole episode ends (with Molly going to stay with her family) is too abrupt. All the time Molly was portrayed as loving and caring to Daniel. Suddenly she decided to dump him? I know she may be dying but the way its done could have been better presented. It looks like the producers are running of ideas to wrap the season. Even if Betty do not get renewed, at least have it end in the most entertaining and original way. Forgive me guys. I know I am taking this way too seriously (he!he). Just want to share my two cents worths.
