More Pics of Betty And Matt on the Ugly Betty Set

Here are some more pics of America Ferrera and Daniel Eric Gold on the set of Ugly Betty.
This is a slightly different scene than the one I previously posted. Instead of pink and orange, Betty goes for the slightly-less-clashing pink and purple. If this IS the same scene, it’ll be interesting to see which take makes it into the episode (orange or purple scarf?) I do like the stars, though.
Gold is dressed the same, but has no bag in this scene. In a couple of these, his expression does look rather goofy, so maybe my theory is true that he’s nerdy on the inside. 
Betty also seems to be a little perturbed in this scene.
This was filmed on Madison Avenue in the Upper East Side. A couple of shots are obviously rehearsals, since Betty isn’t wearing Pat Field’s glasses.
New Yorkers: isn’t the “Twenty Three” canopy an Ugly Betty facade, or is it a real place? It’s been featured several times in the background this season. I don’t know New York very well, so I have no idea if it’s a real place.

The 23 is real.
okay, at first i totally resented the producers for somehow writing off Gio since I totally think he and Betty are a good couple. I didn’t like Matt at first, but when I saw how good they are together, I’m liking him now! The technique was to make Betty come from such a terrible person as Jessie and then come up with this totally nice person. Good work Betty execs.
Now for your next assignment–don’t cancel Ugly Betty!!!
