Happy Birthday, Ana Ortiz

Today is Ana Ortiz’s birthday!  The Ugly Betty actress, who is also celebrating the fact that she’s expecting, turns 38 29 again today. 

I did not know this, but Ana’s biography includes attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts.  The is the school made famous in the movie and television show Fame.  Apparently, she’s quite the singer (which will come in handy if the musical episode of Ugly Betty EVER airs).

Ana’s father is former Philadelphia city councilman, Angel Ortiz.

On last Thursday’s episode, 3.12- Sisters on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Ana gave her best performance since 2.01 – How Betty Got Her Grieve Back.  It’s about time she was recognized for her immense talent (both comedic and dramatic).
