Mischa Barton Coming To Ugly Betty?

Reports are surfacing that Mischa Barton of The O.C. fame is in talks to join the cast of Ugly Betty – in a guest starring role. Barton left The O.C in 2006, and has been in several movies since.
As an aside, did you know that Barton was number one on Mr Skin’s Top Nude Scenes of 2008 for her work in “Closing The Ring?”

Anyway, apparently Barton is looking to return to TV, and is in negotiations for a 5-episode arc on Ugly Betty. A source tells British newspaper The London Paper, “Mischa’s career is at a standstill, so this might be great for her. It’s not a done deal yet, but talks continue.”
No word yet on her possible character or story line, but the UB writers were able to handle Lindsay Lohan, I trust them to excel with Barton.

Hopefully they won’t make her a nsaty person or something like they usually do with guest stars Fair enough, Val Emmich wasn’t a bad guy but there was Lindsey Lohan who was horrid to Betty, Victora Beckham who just used Willie’s wedding as a publicity and Salma Hyack (Sp?) who was playing a game.
Basically, I hope UB make her character nice
I hope they dun make her character a pain in the ass like they did with Lindsay.. but u know, with LiLo, for me, no matter wat type of character she plays, I will never like her.
Anyhow, back to Mischa, I hope she will get to play someone who isnt such a bitch to Betty or anyone else on the show. Like AmberJ said, UB has had waaay too many guest stars that end up going bad and I think they need to change that.
