Lots of great Ugly Betty pics today. Here is a set of America Ferrera and Ana Ortiz filming in NYC.
As usual, the individual pieces of Ferrera’s outfit are quite nice, but pretty hideous together. In fact, I’ve gotten so used to Patricia Field’s strange stylings for Betty that if America showed up at the set wearing nice, matching outfits, it wouldn’t look quite right to me.
I don’t quite know what to think about the kitty cat purse, though. It’s cute. Maybe Betty ordered it from the SoCuteItsSick.com online store?
In the first pic after the jump, it looks like Ferrera is “crushing someone’s head” (ala Kids in the Hall)
It’s just good to see Betty filming again. December is usually a very slow time for the show, and last year we were stuck in the middle of a writers’ strike. This looks much better.

Yeah the purse is not my cup of tea, although IMO it ranks higher than the creepy baby/doll one. I really like Hilda’s shoes though!
Hilda’s shoes are nice, Juna. You are right. And Betty doesnt look as bad as the rest of the season (because she has a kind-of-nice coat?)
Yeah, Dani. I can see her buying something socuteissick like that. But I thought the theme of this season was “growing up”. But wait. I get it. A lot of grown people have hello-kitty stuff. But still… a teddy bear? yeah, she is still living in Teddy Bear Lane, Betty Suarez Land, USA
oh I forgot to ask: which episode is this? do we know?
The outfit looks adorable… on Betty, but I think if anyone else were to wear it, they would look hideous. lol And the bag woulda been ok, if that big puppy/kitten wasnt on it. Hilda looks hot, as usual, and I have to agree, those shoes she is wearing are hardcore, I need a pair like that.
Am I the only one who thinks all of Betty’s outfits are great? I love them all, the more over-the-top the better. I don’t think I’ll ever understand why people worry so much about what others are wearing. Who cares? Think about how tragically boring it would be if Betty just looked like everyone else on the show.
