Buy A Kiss From An Ugly Betty Star!

This is so cool! The female stars of Ugly Betty have lent their lips to a good cause. Mary Kay has kicked off their second annual A Kiss for Country charity auction at www.uBid.com/charity. A Kiss for Country asked celebrities to provide their kiss prints and signatures to be auctioned off online to benefit programs to prevent and end domestic violence.
I’m in heaven: America Ferrera, Vanessa Williams, Ana Ortiz, Becki Newton and Ashley Jensen have all volunteered their “kisses”. I’m thinking Vanessa Williams, but I could be convinced to bid on others!
The kisses are an auction at UBid through December 12th, so don’t dilly-dally.
The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation funds research grants to help find a cure for cancers affecting women.
It also funds women’s shelters and offers financial support to organizations that raise awareness and address the problem of violence against women.
So, bid on a kiss – even if you are female! (That sounds like something Amanda would say). You’ll be helping a great cause, and get a one-of-a-kind bit of memorabilia.

ha ha! now, if only they could get eric mabius, michael urie, david blue, mark indelicato, beatrice’s favourite, freddy rodriguez and grant bowler to get together and come up with something similar to this, then well, who wouldn’t bid for that one?!
The problem is, UB fandom has lot of girls in it. So of course we’d prefer kisses from them

nanyscia- that’s true, although with this show, most of its fans are predominately female, like us. so its not just the female characters we watch for but the male ones too; even marc who is gay (i.e though not michael urie himself).
although it would be great too if the guys did something like this for charity.
