Ugly Betty Episode 3.08 Promo
Here is the promo for Ugly Betty episode 3.08, Tornado Girl. (Thanks to B&B)
Betty needs Daniel’s help to prevent an issue of Mode from shipping that could result in a PR nightmare for the magazine. The problem is, he’s unreachable at a company retreat. Meanwhile, Hilda starts a clandestine beauty salon when the city turns down her permit for a legal business, and Connor’s fiance’ (guest star Sarah LeFleur) meets the Modies.
Some quick impressions:
I may be dense, but I have no idea how the issue of Mode is going to get to the point where it would be an embarrassing disaster. Maybe the guy Betty asks to take the picture does some doctoring?
I remember over the summer we heard about a story line involving a company retreat. Now I’m REALLY interested to see where the retreat is. And the situation they’ve set up just might be wacky-funny.
Hilda’s story line just HAS to involve Ralph Macchio, right? The two of them have a wonderful chemistry. Too bad we have yet another character choosing to do the wrong thing. (Note to Silvio: yes, I KNOW that a cast of goody-goodies would be boring. Of course, they have to have challenges and slip up. But cheating, adultery, lying, and law breaking really should be restricted to the bad guys, right?) However, this one seems semi-harmless, and if it means more Macchio-Ortiz sparring, I say bring it on!
Marc’s hair changes more than Amanda’s. I like it.
Wilhelmina’s going to shoot at Marc, Mandy and Betty’s car? I wonder what kind of shot she is?
This episode looks to be heavy on the comedy. I’m really looking forward to it.

Yep! I’m with ya! Bring on more Macchio-Ortiz. Chemistry was great… balanced. They’re so different he… seems kind of grounded and that would be so different for her. Plus, I thought they looked great together.

this has all the makings of a great episode, i’m feeling the vibe on this one. yeah, i too wonder what’s up marc’s hair? i loved it in crimes of fashion, michael looked gorge with it but recently it has changed and i am not really liking the look of it. willie shooting the car betty, mandy and marc are travelling in… what is up with that one? i’m curious to know what her motive is for doing this.
but anyway, i am get a strong feeling this could be one of the best episodes of ugly betty this season. and with two of my favourites involved, amanda and marc, we should be in for a huge treat.
