Welcome to the weekly craziness here at Ugly Betty News, where we watch and react to new Ugly Betty episodes! This week’s episode is entitled Ugly Berry:
Betty finds herself competing with Kimmie (guest star Lindsay Lohan) who finally shows her true colors, and new citizen Ignacio prepares to vote for the first time. Meanwhile Hilda takes advantage of the increased election traffic to promote her shop, and Wilhelmina wants to hire a new financial officer (guest star Grant Bowler) whom Daniel can’t stand.
This will prove to be a doozy. Can’t wait to see Betty “knock her down” !

Yay! Finally an episode that I LOVED. I can’t wait for next week… I haven’t said that in a while.
betty had cards.. remember fey’s sleigh ride? she handed them out at the rack and she had them in a box. and her name is on the mass tag! remember they accdientally spelled it betsy? loved wilhelmina telling off kimmy! great episode. needs more solo wilhelmina so we know whats going through her head, ya know?
I agree with X. I loved this episode. I can’t wait to see next week. I want to see what Daneil’s got up his sleeve.

NOW I know why Betty ends up with a little thing for Jesse! He’s Gio-lite! “Go for it Betty” C’mon, that’s what Gio kept trying to tell her!
I don’t want Jesse. I want Gio. I like Jesse but I wish she could hook up with Gio.
this was a great episode, i enjoyed this one so much. marc, mandy and betty working together against kimmie and putting her in her plce- or make that pushing her out was class.
also, nice cameo by cliff; hopefully, we’ll see more of him later on in the next few eppies.
@UBfan-Well, I personally liked Jesse more than Gio. The minority here, I know, but I loved his song. XD
He pushes her without her FEELING pushed… you know?
@Miki-Just meant that Betty feels the hole left by Gio, now that they’re whatever-they-are-that-means-they-don’t-hate-each-other-but-don’t-talk-either. Whether you like(d) Gio or not, you have to admit that he was good for her. He got her to move out of her comfort zone a little, helped her grow as a person. Subconsciously, Betty knows that, feels the lack of it, and thinks Jesse might fit the bill.
That’s my opinion, anyway. YMMV.
MIKI – I totally agree with you. I’m definitely a Jesse Fan. I was over Gio as soon as the whole thing started. Freddy was awesome, but Val is rockin’ it out. And I can’t deny a musician….. a REAL musician @ that.
