Ugly Betty Episode 3.06 Promo

Here is the promo for the upcoming episode of Ugly Betty, 3.06 “Ugly Berry”.  It looks like the Kimmie storyline will come to a head (and hopefully a conclusion).

This episode, once again, is going to be mostly about the Kimmie/Betty drama.  I’m actually interested in the subplot of Ignacio getting to vote for the first time.  But, mostly, this episode will be all about the catfight.

It’s weird to see Marc and Mandy working alongside Betty (”We set her up Betty.  You knock her down.”).  I’m guessing that Kimmie, in her ambition, betrayed them.  I’m also guessing, based on the look on Betty’s face, that Betty isn’t going to be able to go through with whatever they’ve set up for her to do.

But in the Ugly Betty universe, Kimmie will still, in the end, get hers.

As a side note, the rumors of Lindsay Lohan and America Ferrera fighting on set have reached hyper-viral status.  I was visiting my dad last night (the last time he was in touch with pop culture was somewhere around 1976), and he proceeded to tell me what he had heard.  That means they’re probably talking about it in North Korea and Antarctica, too.

I stand by my assertion that most of the tabloid drama is manufactured.  Here’s what Becki  Newton had to say about it:   “The drama is all on screen.”

Of course, the ratings held steady last episode, even against the World Series.  This is a good thing.  So, America, Lindsay, get your claws out and go at it!
