Mode After Hours: Bowling For Cliff
ABC has released another episode of Mode After Hours. This one is entitled “Bowling for Cliff”. (Note, as of this moment, the video isn’t directly accessible from the ABC Ugly Betty homepage. I had to click on the home page MAH link, get an error, then browse around the videos listed in the video player). Here it is:
Although it’s not necessarily side-splittingly funny, this episode is a good reminder why we love Marc & Mandy. It’s just plain fun to watch them when they are together; the chemistry is the kind that is hard to reproduce.
I love how Marc is going out of his way to make Cliff happy (when have we ever seen this side of Marc before?). Marc’s face when Amanda is describing Cliff (in a derogatory way) is pretty funny.
For some reason, Becki Newton spends most of this clip sounding like she’s on heavy doses of Prozac, but I think that’s because she’s in “guru” mode. The ending is pretty funny. Check it out! I agree, it wasn’t as funny as the two previous ones but I did laugh out loud at some parts. I thought it was hilarious when Amanda told Marc to be “one with the ball” and Marc, with a serious face, turned around to reveal a giant ball that didn’t even fit in one hand. And it’s so nice to see the softer side of Marc, I loved the fact that he was actually doing something for Cliff instead of being selfish and asking to do something he wanted to do. He’s growing up! I thought this webisode was very cute.
