Kristin’s Ugly Betty Spoilers – Very Interesting!

EOnline’s Kristin has some interesting Ugly Betty news in her Watch With Kristin Spoiler Chat installment this week. They are actually real, bonafied spoilers (if a little mild), so I’ll put them after the jump.
They concern the whole Christina being pushed down the stairs story line, and one piece of info surprised me. We hadn’t really discussed if Christina’s baby would survive. Most of us have focused on the whodunnit aspect.
The other storyline involves Stuart, and those who were in the live blog know: you’ve got a “I told you so” coming from me.

Shellie in Atlanta: I can’t believe Cristina got pushed down the stairs on Ugly Betty! Is the baby OK?
Yes, the baby will be fine, other than the fact that its mom is Wilhelmina. Christina won’t be the only person who goes down those stairs though. It looks like Wilhelmina, Betty, Marc and Amanda will take a spill as well. People should really be more careful!
I don’t know why, but I had assumed that the baby wouldn’t survive. But, now that I think about it, it makes sense that the baby will be OK. After all, he/she is the device by which the writers can keep Wilhelmina at Meade publications. Now if Alexis would only get exiled to Player, it would be comedy heaven.
As for the other thing, we’ve seen the multiple person fall down the stairs in the promos. I wonder if it’s a flashback, or a huge comedy gag. It’s probably the latter, and I’m sure it’ll be hilarious (no doubt, no one will be hurt!)

Joanne in Maine: More Mode—err, Ugly Betty please!
A fall down the stairs isn’t the only bad thing heading Cristina’s way. We’ve seen how her husband is digging into drugs again, but he actually has a good reason.
Ahem. I could tell by the way the writers were making Christina so instantly judgmental that there was more to this story. That’s not to say STuart is a “good guy” (I still think he’s a con-man. Remember how he brought Wilhelmina to Christina’s place?)
Anyway, this episode will be a turning point – I believe. Can’t wait to see!
Hi! There was another very interesting UB spoiler from Kristin’s: Watch With Kristin show yesterday straight from Ugly Betty’s very own Ana Ortiz/Hilda Suarez.
Let’s just say it involves Alexis and a very colorful suit in one of Mode’s “old” colors.
I’m SOOOOOOOOOO relieved that the baby survives. I really think a baby could bring lots of interesting situations at Mode.
I’m more inclined to agree with the members at the B&B site on this one: I think Alexis is the one who pushed Christina. It just seems too obvious for Stuart to be the one who did it. In fact, it seems to me like the writers are trying a little too hard to convince us that Stuart (or even Claire) is behind it all. To me, they’re both “red herrings”.
Besides, Alexis is supposed to be leaving soon, right? To me, this would be one way of getting her to leave.

Mainly because this is the vehicle by which Alexis will leave, I think. I was hoping it would be because DJ was hers, but, alas. Now, I’ve gotten used to DJ and Daniel together. (Even though I’m pretty sure that won’t end well, either)
So true what Tom said about the writers wanting Wilhelmina to be in a certain place and are almost rushing to get her there. As for the stair falling, that seems like it will be very funny and B&B pretty much confirmed that it was Alexis who did push her. I know people who thought it was Stuart and it was too obvious. Am i the only one who thought the first christina stuart scene was amazing. Ashley Jensen was great and believeable and the way the camera was behind the shoes made it more dramatic and not so scripted and taped. I wanted Stuart to be bad after that.. I like the drama. Hope he doesnt become a nice guy now!
At first i hated the fact taht Daniel had a son and thought it would be a bother. But i love DJ i think hes cute and funny and balances out Daniels life. I never thought of the possibility of DJ being Alex Meades baby.. SOO clever whoever thought of that.. thatd be great. I hope DJ and Daniel have a good ending since the writers arent making DJ the only focus in Daniels life. Nice balance of Mode comedy and Meade drama!
Never thought about that. But I like those ideas. I am in board with the whole Alexis thing. Originally I was positive it was Stuart. But that would be so obvious that it just can´t be right.
Nanyscia, I am also relieved the baby will be okay. The death of a child would have been too tragic for a show like UB (does someone always have to die in every season of UB? stop it!)

Are you Nanyscia from youtube that uploads all the videos?! .. I think the past few episodes have been very traumatic but they always have a big drama happen than slowly lighten it up which looks like next weeks episode… I love the drama and the comedy

Ally and Tom, I think instead that Alexis didn’t *really*push Christina: they probably just let us to think this (since Rebecca has to leave for now the show), and when we don’t expect, something else will be revelated as the one who did. At least, I hope so..
