Ralph Macchio To Appear On Ugly Betty!

Now THIS is a casting scoop I can get excited about! According to OK Magazine, Pony Boy himself, Daniel-san the Karate Kid, Eugene the guitar virtuoso…none other than Ralph Macchio will be guest starring on Ugly Betty!
Ralph will appear as city official Archie Rodriguez on Oct. 30. Maybe his story line will have something to do with Daniel/DJ, or Alexis? We’ll have to wait and see.
Ana Ortiz said recently at the Stand Up for a Cure event about Macchio, “You look at him and it’s hard to recognize … you don’t see the boy anymore. And he’s just a completely wonderful actor.”
She continues about a long-time crush:
“I loved him,” she says, “but I did have a crush on Pony Boy in The Outsiders.”
Stay gold, Ana.
I love the fact that the producers are all over the board when it comes to guest stars. Keep them coming, Silvio. We’re loving it!

Hey Tom, I for one am also excited about Macchio’s guest appearance. Not to be a stickler though, he actually played Johnny on The Outsiders. Pony Boy was played by C. Thomas Howell.
btw, Ralph Macchio was not Pony Boy, he was Johnny in The Outsiders. i know it’s silly but that is my absolute favorite book and movie. jsyk!

He wasn’t Ponyboy in The Outsiders, he was Johnnie.
ralph macchio played johnny in the outsiders. it was C thomas howell who played ponyboy curtis. its good to see him back.
