Ugly Betty Episode 3.01 Sneak Peek Video

ABC has released the first Ugly Betty video sneak peek of the season. This is a sneak peek of episode 3.01, “The Manhattan Project”.

This answers a few questions we’ve had from the spoilers and set photos we’ve seen over the summer. Daniel and Betty are obviously working at Player Magazine, as we had figured out.

Also, we know why Betty ended up on the motorcycle. DJ had sprayed silly string in the eyes of the “R” girl (they were arranged on motorcycles to spell “PLAYER”, and she went home). So, Betty takes her place. And we’ve seen what happens to her!

One thing that seems clear now is that Betty is pretty much running things, not because Daniel is being a dumba**, but because he’s overwhelmed with the combination of a brand new job and a brand new son thrust upon him. This is an interesting story line, one that makes Daniel far more sympathetic while giving Betty a chance to shine.

What happens at the end (they don’t show it), I can’t wait to find out. Of course, it doesn’t look good.
