Ugly Betty Episode 3.04 Promo Pics!

by Tom on September 19th, 2008

America Ferrera on location for Ugly Betty on Coney Island

ABC has released a new batch of Ugly Betty promo pics, this time stills of episode 3.04, “Betty Suarez Land”. The (short) synopsis:

Gio returns and Betty tries to make amends, but he’s not having it. Meanwhile, Daniel struggles with some shocking family news.

(I find the “he’s not having it” part quite compelling.  Gio’s going to be MAD apparently).  You know, I’m so used to Betty getting her heart broken, it just is very hard to get used to the idea of Betty breaking someone else’s heart. Anyway, check these out.  I believe this is going to be another pivotal episode.

Wow.  This one is going to be quite emotional, no matter what happens.

I am hoping to post these again, this time hosted here.  We’ll see.  But, I wanted to get them to you as soon as possible, so I say thanks to the good folks at SpoilerTV.

Gio’s not glaring at DJ. Look at the composition of the photo. Knowing Daniel, he’s being a dumbass and saying something to Betty that’s going to freak DJ out.

The only one paying attention to DJ’s reaction to Daniel’s news is Gio.

To be honest, it looks as though Daniel’s probably telling Betty he doesn’t think DJ’s his son and Gio’s seeing him (DJ) walk up. Because it looks like he’s looking at DJ mid-emotion change or something. It’s almost sadness?

I don’t understand the glaring conotation, though. There’s no anger on his face and to me that’s what glaring means.

Yes, it looks more like concern to me.

So glad to see Gio again - and he looks good. I hope they resolve their differences.

Sorry to see Daniel look so unhappy at the end, though. They need to give him a break.

    WOAH!!!! GIO IS BACK!!!!
Nice. Seems like he’ll kick Betty to the curb for her indecision at the finale last season.

He looks so handsome! The expressions of his face! I can’t believe he still finds time, under all his disappointment, to help the girl he loves (and her boss).
That tender moment when Daniel hugs DJ and Gio and Betty look at them… ah that picture is really beautiful. (the one you call with the look of sadness)

I can´t wait for this episode!

Oh, and Tom - She sort of broke Walter’s heart and apparently has broken Henry’s heart, too, by not marrying him. She seems to be the one with all the options.

“Gio’s not glaring at DJ. Look at the composition of the photo. Knowing Daniel, he’s being a dumbass and saying something to Betty that’s going to freak DJ out.”

    ——————-
Sheesh. There’s nothing wrong with liking/supporting Gio, but is it really necessary to call Daniel a “dumbass”? From what I understand from spoiler info, it’s not like Daniel did this on purpose. It sounds like something that would’ve happened to anyone - he started talking and didn’t realize that Daniel Jr. would creep up from behind and overhear the conversation, until it was too late.

Also, from what I’ve seen from the other pics (i.e., the ones taken during filming), Betty notices Daniel Jr.’s reaction, too, but she may not notice him as soon as Gio does since Daniel is talking to her.

Overall, I think these pictures are heartbreaking. It certainly looks like Daniel is a bit tearful in that one heliport pic. This definitely will be an emotional episode - probably like “I See Me, I.C.U.” all over again.

As for Daniel, I do hope in time that more fans will realize that the guy has substance and that he’s not a constant screw-up. Frankly, it’s getting tedious and annoying to read comments that give him a bum rap.

We’ll see on October 16 what’s really going on at Coney Island. It’s really hard to tell, divorced from context, what facial expressions mean in a picture.

Gio looks mad, in that one pic, to me.

But, I can see how that might be taken as concern, as well. Like I said, we’ll just have to wait and see October 16th.

And, I’ll agree with Ally about one thing.

I watched “Jump” again last night, and it struck me how important Daniel is to Ugly Betty. The writers DO portray him as dumb, but only to make the scenes with Wilhelmina funnier (he seems overmatched).

BUT, Daniel isn’t dumb, he’s unfocused. When pressed, he’s brilliant (the tribute to Bradford Meade cover for Mode, for instance).

I think Daniel is so important to the story because he reflects Betty’s goodness back to her.

Full disclosure: I’m pretty much a Detty shipper. Not that I don’t like the other two, I just love the friendship between Daniel and Betty.

    Yay! Gio!!

So, I was thinking, either Daniel Jr. made a rude joke and said something to Gio, or maybe they had a bet at the fair and Gio lost. :]]

-runs around all excited for episode-

    Sep 19, 2008 at 11:36 am

Wow - I thought the moderator was supposed to stay neutral. Does this mean that Henry and Gio and Jesse lovers aren’t welcome here?

And if Daniel wasn’t clue challenged he wouldn’t need Betty to get him out of his situations, and not just with Wilhelmina.

He is a wonderful part of the show, but he is what he is - just like all the characters.

Tom, you don’t need to ‘disclose’ that you are a Detty Shipper, it’s fairly obvious to anyone who reads your blog. I guess for new readers it may be important to note your ‘bias’…so to speak. In any event, #1 I’m excited for this season in general because I love the show. #2 In the interest of full disclosure I am Getty shipper and love that Betty may finally get the brush off (but only for while). #3 I could also be called a Detty in the sense that I love the Daniel and Betty FriendSHIP. As a couple? No. I hope they don’t go down that road. It’s too contrived and predictable. Plus, they are more interesting as platonic friends. How often do we get to experience a relationship like that on TV.

  • Sarah (stuley23)
    Sep 19, 2008 at 11:46 am

Yes. Cause we just *so* love the conflict we run into all over the UB online community.

Oh, and please forgive us for finding joy when our ship gets a little spotlight now and then. What were we thinking?

  • Sal

Alrighty, I can see why you would think Gio is “glaring” at DJ (crossed arms convey negativity and defensiveness). This is what I see: Daniel seems to be talking about something distressing and Betty looks like she’s disagreeing with him or lecturing him…I don’t know but it looks like an intense conversation. Gio observes the exchange with an expression of concentration/disapproval on his face with his arms crossed, he’s staying out of it but he has his own opinions. Just at that moment DJ walks up to them, it only takes a split second for his eyes to shift to DJ so what we get is Betty and Daniel frozen in conversation and Gio at the exact moment he notices DJ. Next I’m guessing Daniel says something DJ shouldn’t hear and Gio’s facial expression changes to one of alarm etc…and here’s a site with a photo of Betty and Gio looking unhappy as Daniel runs after DJ.

Oh, Good God…more of this “shipper” drama. Never fails, does it? I don’t think there’s any public “Ugly Betty” forum that one can go to anymore without any of this happening. (shrugs)

Well, there’s not much else to say about the pictures, except that I agree about this probably being an emotional episode. It certainly looks that way, with the Daniel/DJ hug and the heliport pictures. I’m curious to see what the truth is about DJ’s paternity. That mystery has been bugging me for a while now.

Still, in all fairness, I will say this: For those who have been visiting this blog long enough, you’ll know that this isn’t the first time Tom has ‘disclosed’ his shipping preference. Even with those old Benry shippers, I remember him doing that, and it seemed like they were pretty much okay with it because he was neutral. And I think Tom’s comments about the pictures were pretty much neutral observations. I don’t see the “Detty” bias there. (In fact, to be honest, Tom? There were times that I actually thought you might be a Hetty or a Getty fan, based on some of the previous stuff you’ve posted. If you had never said it, I might not have known that you were a “Detty” fan.)

    *Sigh*

I’ve always revealed my POV because I dont want anyone thinking I’m taking sides in the Getty/Benry wars.

I’ve also made it clear that ALL are welcome here (and encouraged). I only ask for civility.

Anyway, the writers have made it pretty clear that the whole Detty thing is NOT going to happen. Rememer the interview with Ferrera and Mabius when theylaughed the idea off?

I always figured that, since the show will most likely never go there, we Detty folks would be looked at as harmless. We sure were last May.

The only time I thought there might be a Detty was at the end of S1 ep1. I was a Benry then (not that I knew of the terms “Detty” or “Benry”, or even the online communities!) and wanted things to work out for Betty and Henry. But the moment I saw Gio pull up with his sandwich cart at Mode :) I knew he was going to be the guy for Betty. How can you not love Getty?! Getty is wonderful!!! Betty and Daniel’s Friendship is great, she brings out the best in Daniel and it’s so cute how they work together. But I don’t like the idea of Detty. I don’t think the writers will go there but I’m not going to say they absolutely won’t, you never know what could happen. But this is what I truly believe: GETTY FOREVER!!!!

“Anyway, the writers have made it pretty clear that the whole Detty thing is NOT going to happen. Rememer the interview with Ferrera and Mabius when they laughed the idea off?”

    ————————-
Actually, Tom, that’s not true. The door to the Daniel/Betty romance is still very much open. The writers have never said anything for or against it. They’ve been pretty vague, truth be told. So far, some fans are speculating that it won’t happen, but that’s really where the “no D/B romance” idea begins and ends - with rumors and fan speculation.

Even the supposed interview that you mentioned where America and Eric “laughed off” the idea doesn’t exist. Remember - the one who reported that news bit wasn’t even a direct source. It was Michael Ausiello, who supposedly received the info from someone else. In fact, America has never said “yes” or “no” to the idea. (I’ve seen the early interviews when they asked her that question, so you can trust me on that.) As for Eric, his opinion has gone back and forth - but recently, he has been supportive of it happening in the future.

Take a look at this recent interview from April, and you’ll see what he said:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MniAWI2YNYw

So, as a Detty shipper, you should keep the faith! :)

Wow, I love how this website practically explodes whenever a picture of Gio pops up. Its really amusing. So for my opinion, which nobody asked for….

I have to agree with many posters before me on different points….like Fen, I am a solid Getty supporter (I don’t know why but the term ’shipper’ kind of irks me, especially when I start reading UBN posts). Also, like Fen, I’m 100% happy that Gio’s apparently going to give Betty the brush-off…its no more than she deserves for a little while in my opinion, since she does seem to have a million guys after her perpetually and apparently doesn’t know how to deal with any of them. She needs to get it together, and then I’m all for finally getting some real Getty.

Jace- I commiserate; some of this stuff can be pretty tiring, not to mention old hat. (But I apparently can’t stay away, yeesh what does that say about me? : )

Yours Truly- the internet doesn’t convey your tone of voice very well, and your post sends me mixed signals. What exactly are we having a sarcastic laugh over? Gio telling Betty to get lost? And why are we not peacemakers? I know I personally have tried to remain pretty neutral when posting amongst other ’shippers.’ (Unless directly attacked, which is kind of how I perceive your post, but maybe I’m wrong?) I don’t know whether I should take the shoulder jab and pretend to laugh or laugh myself sarcastically all the way back to MGSG…

I Love Conflict- your assessment is perfect, LOL.

And lastly, as Tom said, its pretty hard to interpret some facial expressions devoid of context, so I’m trying to reserve my opinion on that until the episode airs. It does look like a particularly good and emotional episode and I’m looking forward to it.

I want it known that I comment on here very rarely, but I am an avid visitor of the Ugly Betty News site. I normally don’t comment for the most part because I usually feel that others have a better grasp at interrupting the show and overanalyzing pictures or spoilers more than I can. Despite not commenting I always greatly enjoyed reading what everyone else had to say. I’m not much of a shipper (I somewhat prefer Detty to all the other options, but not of the men introduced have really spiked my interest), but I did like how everyone tried to represent their own ship in civil discussion. However, in recent months I have noticed myself coming on to the comments page less and less, and as a result I’ve been coming on UBN less too.

This post, it seems, is one of the prime examples of why I don’t. The first comment here was something along the lines of ‘Daniel’s being a dumbass’. Under normal circumstances, this wouldn’t be a comment taken to harshly since Daniel has done several things in the past that could be considered very stupid, but since we all seem to know each other’s ship preference on here everyone is immediate to take offense. I am not try to say that Ally’s comment was out of line, in fact I thought her response was very gracious and diplomatic. The comment to me that seemed out of line was one by a “yours truly” who said that “[she] bet[s] those “Getty girls” are having some sarcastic laugh about this over at their place now. They’re not peacemakers anyway. They LOVE conflict” I have never seen a more childish response from someone who is old enough to type and use a computer.

Firstly, never say that someone loves conflict when you yourself are only making the comment to receive conflict. Thats “How Not to be a Hypocrite 101″. Also, if you’re going to talk about sarcastic laughing, it would make more sense to NOT put an “lol” before the statement. Then there’s the idea that you imply you go onto their site to read what they say. This was a real head scratcher for me. If you don’t like their ship, why would you visit their site?

It seems as if this website has become glorious white noise to the Ugly Betty community, like 24 Hour Cable News stations are actual news.

Sarcastic and snarky? Sure, I’ll own up to that. I’m one of Gio’s girls, to be sure : ) Oversensitive? I wasn’t trying to come off that way- as a matter of fact, I thought I was being pretty diplomatic, but then that’s just what I mean about the internet not conveying tone very well…

For MY part (as an individual and not part of the ’ship’, as some seem to like to stereotype ALL of us), people can say whatever they want about Gio. I might happen to love him as a character, but I realize that he is just that. Its only when directly provoked that I get prickly, and if that makes me hypocritical then I guess so be it.

Also, I think you’ll find it erroneous to assume that all, or even many, Getty girls assume that Gio will be around forever, especially after everything that came out over the summer. Optimistic and convinced are two different things.

But I’ll stop adding fuel to the fire now before Tom whips out his moderator hat and admonishes us all : )

Hey, guys? Daniel is not a dumbass, Getty shippers are not sarcastic and Tom is not shoving his ship in anyone’s face just because of how he worded something. I don’t want to offend anyone, but if you can’t handle reading a post that has nothing to do with a ship without making it about ships, maybe you should stick to yout own websites. Everyone interprets stuff differently, but I think we can all agree this episode is going to be heartbreaking- and amazing.

    ……………………………………………………

Good. I’m glad he’s not settling.

Its time that Betty realizes she can’t be playing games anymore. I hope the PTB give her back her heart and common sense (heck…bring back Eduardo Castro too!) soon after 3.04.
She definitely doesn’t have it with her little Jesse crush. Oh well, all to promote his music, I guess. They did it with BowWow…at least not with Gene Simmons. :D

We’ve had some interesting nicks today, but Fat Carol is by far my favorite! You’ve got to keep that one.

A bit of trivia: has Fat Carol ever been on screen? I remember the first few episodes of season 1 she was a big topic of discussion, but I don’t remember if she’s ever actually been played onscreen.

If not, they’ve GOT to bring her back one day, on screen.

  • Lee
    Sep 19, 2008 at 5:07 pm

Yeah, she was seen, quite a bit during Fey’s Sleigh Ride, mainly insulting Betty (and in one case Amanda).

She actually wasn’t fat at all really.

  • Tomatish
    Sep 19, 2008 at 5:35 pm

Since no one talked about this, I’m gonna comment on the photo with Claire and Daniel because around this time Daniel needs the support of his mother realy much especailly that he lost his Dad not long ago.
I hope TPTB continue to play the Mom/Dad figure exchange between Daniel and Betty (since s1 Claire was a great suport to Betty and Ignacio helped Daniel find his passion in s2)

As for Daniel, IMO his friendship with Betty is what the show is mainly about and being an UB fan implies you’re a Detty fan if we’re talking about friendship only. Where people tend to disagree is when it comes to them being in an intimate relationship (which for me would ruin the whole show)

And let’s be honest, Daniel can be a dumbass sometimes. But what makes him special is that he cares and tries to make things better, eventhough it sometimes results in making it worse. So thank God he has Betty ;)

BTW, what’s up with the Meade helicopter?

Okay, so my interpretation of Gio giving DJ a “look”. I think it’s a pointed look on the lines of, “I’ve got my eye on you, boyo, so don’t be thinking of running off!” But I haven’t been reading the spoilers as closely as some of you, I like a little air of mystery. :)
On the shipping front - who knows. I tend to lean toward “never gonna happen” for the Detty OTP, but I think they are very important to each other, and good friends are more important than lovers in the long run.

(PS Betty/Henry for the endgame.) :)

  • Really?
    Sep 19, 2008 at 7:18 pm

Detty ain’t happening. That’s definitely my thought. But if I’m wrong, I’m wrong.

But I think you’re shooting yourself in the foot, Pip, by saying that good friends are more important than lovers in the long run. Because if that’s true, then why don’t we also apply that idea to Betty/Henry and Betty/Gio? Either of those guys could come back and become good friends with her, and in the end, that would be better than Betty getting involved romantically with either one of them. Right? :-)

I’m really looking forward to this episode — not only do we see Gio looking hotter than ever, but we finally get an episode to redeem the debacle that was “Jump”.

  • Livia
    Sep 19, 2008 at 10:52 pm

I’m a dyed in the wool Getty, and I think I have this in common with most other Gettys I’ve communicated with:
    1) Lots of Gettys are happy about the idea of Gio telling Betty off and dumping her (although we only want it to be temporary). I for one have not been happy that Betty’s just taken this unbelievably caring, supportive, funny, smartass-on-the-surface-but-really-solid-through-and-through guy for granted for so long, and thinks she needs a metaphorical splash of icy water to see what she’s letting slip through her fingers. I don’t think it’s because she doesn’t care about him, I think it’s as much as anything because up to now he’s let her treat him that way by being there for her no matter what, but like they say, people will treat you the way you teach them to treat you, so I’m cheering a Gio who finally says to Betty, I can’t keep taking this and coming back for more. I believe that in all other ways they have the makings of a fabulous couple, but something has to happen to change the balance, because–whoever is responsible–Betty’s been calling all the shots.
    2) Just about all Gettys I know like Daniel a lot and mostly like the Daniel-Betty relationship, which is very special. I personally think, in its own way, it’s at the very heart of the show. I just don’t think it should be romantic.

You know, I refrained from posting a lot more earlier in an effort NOT to start a verbal battle with this oh-so-clever-person-who-thinks-its-funny-to-mock-everything-being-said-and-show-it-by-constantly-changing-their-name, but after the last comment I really am a bit offended, and I could care less if anyone thinks I’m being insensitive.

Tom, isn’t there something you can do about this person? They’re being really just plain rude and condescending, and to be honest it kind of turns me off from visiting here. I don’t really think we all deserve to be made fun of for our preferences (which this person really thinks they know more about that they actually do) just because someone is bored and likes to instigate. Allowing this kind of behavior almost makes it seem like this site is encouraging bad manners….in the process of discouraging people to express their opinions about Ugly Betty and ALL its characters, which I thought this blog was all about.

If this is how UBN operates, and I’m not free to express myself politely without being subject to ridicule then maybe I’ll just stick to MGSG where we all actually like one another and can converse like adults : (

My people? What people?? I only speak for myself. There’s no reason to attack a character or a ship that you assume a person is in.
I’ve liked this show from the start — but I don’t like the recent direction the writers have taken Betty. And I’m not putting her down for the sake of Gio. I’m upset that she was unfair to both Gio AND Henry. She didn’t give Henry an answer right away, which probably gave him hope, and Gio had to hear about the proposal from Henry - not Betty.
Regardless of which guy would’ve been in 3.04, she treated them wrong and needs to grow up.

Silvio Horta said, “We lost Betty’s point of view. We kept adding layers and layers to the cake.”

    http://www.uglybettynews.com/2008/05/13/silvio-horta-on-ugly-betty-season-2-and-3/

I’ve got nothing against Val Emmich himself, but his brief stint on the show would’ve been better at another time or in a different storyline. This one is definitely adding another unnecessary layer to the story after the love triangle that I’m sure everyone’s tired of.

Well, Yours Truly (and your many other pseudonames), your clear snarkiness and enjoyment of all this makes me think that you are a Getty Girl! :)

I’m not going to lie or pretend to be something I’m not, I am snarky, I do love conflict, I can be over sensitive about Gio (but who isn’t about their shipping couple… I mean, take a look at Ally’s response to Wooster’s comment… and come on, we all know that Daniel can be a dumbass just as Henry can be boring and Gio can be a jerk), and I’m probably anything else you seem to think you’re mocking me for. Eh, I know I’m this way, I’m happy with it, and don’t intend to change.

And I will say, I got a kick out of all of your posts. I didn’t realize the Getty Girls had reached such infamy! I must say, I’m rather pleased with that as I consider myself one of the founders, you see. I do hope you can keep spreading our Getty joy where ever you go!

Oh, for the record, I’m a wolf in wolf’s clothing. ;)

(Please feel free to come up with a new nickname inspired by me! I look forward to what you’ll pick to honor me!)

    ALL:

The comments in this thread have gotten a little out of hand, it would seem.

I’m normally, as you can tell, extremely tolerant when it comes to comments, because I want everyone to have a say, and for the most part you have been great, intelligent commeters.

As for moderation, I’m usually on the lookout for direct attacks, so sarcasm goes under my radar most of the time. However, it’s obvious, I need to watch for the kind that could be considered an attack.

I hate to delete comments, because I want everyone and every view to feel welcome here. However, doing this sometimes makes others not feel welcome. It’s a fine line.

If your comment goes away, don’t take it to mean that I don’t want you to comment or visit UBN.

(BTW, I LOVE the cable news analogy. It’s not exactly fair, though, because the tone here hasn’t been so much loudly contentious as smarmy.)

Now, the season is about to start - and we’ll have some REAL stuff to comment about, instead of going after each other!

FWIW - here’s my NEW moderation policy (first used in this thread). If you comments is about the post or the show, you’re most likely OK. If it is snarky and aimed at other commenters, most likely it’ll be deleted. Some have a little of both, and I’ll just have to use a little judgement there.

DON’T think I’m picking on any one ship - I used that criteria and nothing else (and will from now on).

I hate doing this, because it makes the thread hard to read - you see responses to comments that are no longer there.

I REALLY don’t like starting my Saturday with this. :( I like all of you - let’s just call a truce for now, OK?

Just wanted to say Thank You Tom, and I’m sorry you’ve been put in that position. And on that note, only 5 days to go! I’m so excited for this season! : )

oh boy…from looking at these pics and reading people’s comments I’m already starting to cry a bit. This sounds like it’s going to be a pretty sad episode.

Hey Tom, I came to see the pix you found. Love anything with Gio, and with any expression. Bring it on!
I read in one of you other posts that you don’t get FR’s appeal to the ladies, fair enough (you are a guy right?) but it seems you’d have to be blind not to see that FR and AF look good together. Am I wrong?
Don’t answer. Just thanks again for posting these pix.

Wow. Lots of drama here. But considering everything, I’m not surprised one bit.

I think Caitlin made the best point of all: “If you can’t handle reading a post that has nothing to do with a ship without making it about ships, maybe you should stick to your own websites.”

And I agree with Jace. I’m dying to know about the outcome of Daniel and his son. I think we’re about to find out that the boy isn’t his son at all. And where’s Alexis at the heliport?! I’m even more curious now.

I am totally against all the rudeness and attacks but you should be able to comment of the part of the post that interests you - even if that is a relationship (I don’t know who here said it but I’m with you - “ship” drives me crazy.) If you were attacked or insulted or made to feel unwelcome because you stated your interests in a mature way, I’m sure you would be angry. It’s not up to anyone here (except Tom) to decide what can be discussed. These pictures were great and involved two major plot points - Gio and Betty’s relationship and Daniel and DJ and what has happened to them. People should be able to express their interests and excitement about either of these situations without insults or being told to go somewhere else where everyone agrees with them. Anyway, it looks like a great episode. I can’t wait for Thursday and the start of S3.

Oh Tom I am glad everything is settled here. You managed the situation quite well.
I came back to your site (I am on vacation far from home and still *UB obsessive*) just to rewatch those pictures. I am pretty excited for next season the more I watch them. By the recent spoilers we all know that we are going to have a more solid Daniel that will stand up his fears and will face Wilhelmina and his responsibility as a father. Daniel seems to really like the time spent with his “son”. I think the news or whatever upset DJ (probably that DJ isnt his child?) will devastate both of them. It looks like a really heartbreaking moment under the boardwalk (thus the look on Gio and Betty faces)
And, why hide it? I am excited about the thing that Betty may want to make ammends to the guy that had done so many things for her and he wont settle for crumbs. But I totally disagree with your comments about the way Gio looks/stares (angry and glaring poses). I think these scenes will focus more in Daniel/DJ problems and how Gio helps Betty entertain DJ and later finds him under the boardwalk. He might feel offended by Betty’s behavior towards him but he is still the same loving friend that will help her and those around her no matter what.
Okay, time to stare at those pics again.
*goes and fan a bit more by staring at Freddy Rodriguez some more*

I had figured I wasn’t the one that started the fight this time considering I was away for the weekend camping, but guess not. LOL

“Sheesh. There’s nothing wrong with liking/supporting Gio, but is it really necessary to call Daniel a “dumbass”?”

I didn’t call Daniel a dumbass because I like Gio. I called him a dumbass because, quite often, although he’s a nice man, he *can* be a dumbass. Need I make a list of all the jackassery he has commited?

And just because he’s doing something “dumbass” doesn’t mean he is one all the time. I’ve done a lot of dumbass mistakes, but I don’t consider myself stupid.

Okay, I had posted a second ago before I read through all the posts, and now that I have, I want to say this:

I’m sorry if I got anyone going. Although I thought I might by using the word “dumbass,” that was not my intent. I tend to have a colorful mouth and I don’t censor myself. Quite honestly, I like Daniel. He’s a nice guy and I was glad EM moved with the show. I even used to like the idea of Detty. But I call a character like I see him and I tend not to hold back.

Ally, I can understand how that irritated you because, like Angel said, I might have gotten irritated myself had someone said the same thing of Gio or another character I really like. But I probably would have disagreed with you and gave reasons instead. But that’s my way. I like to debate. :)

Tom, if you ever see my comments are out of line or are not for the good of the group, please delete them. I don’t mean to offend or disturb anyone (most of the time). I don’t mean to hijack your threads–I promise. :)

One more thing…now that I’ve seen all of the posts that have been rightly deleted, I want to say that my apology was directed at Ally and those who were offended that can take an apology with grace. I refuse to apologize to someone who insults *personally* any the gloriously sarcastic and snarky Getty Girls.

And you go be that leader, Angel! We rule with a mighty yet merciful hand. ;)

This is going to be heartbreaking. Daniel and Claire looking on sadly. — picture perfect of mother and son…it looks like they are sharing their saddest moment and condoning each other…

Aw, Gio. This really does look emotional. And I know I’m going to be heartbroken, with Betty and Gio not working out. Maybe he will return one day. Maybe that’s been the story all along. One day. :)
