Celebrities team up to stand up to cancer at a nationally televised telethon in Hollywood

I like the skirt as well. Jeans probably would have been a little too casual for such a star-studded event, I think.

The telethon raised over $100 million – that’s right $100 million! The telethon raised money for cancer research, and this should go a long way. The special was aired on ABC,NBC and CBS, hosted by the networks’ anchors.

It was wonderful for America to do her part in this. For someone so young, she really is down-to-earth enough that I can call her my favorite celebrity.
