Pics: Freddy Rodriguez at Bottle Shock NY Screening
Freddy Rodriguez’s latest movie ‘Bottle Shock’ has gone into a wider release, and that’s good news for Ugly Betty fans, especially you Getty fans.
Here are photos of Rodriguez and the rest of the cast at a New York screening of the film at the Cinema II Theater.
Let’s talk facial hair. Some men can pull it off, some men can’t. Mr Rodriguez most certainly can.
There is talk that Freddy might be around for more than a few Ugly Betty episodes this year. I know quite a few folks that would be very happy with that prospect.
As for the film, I’ve seen quite a few good reviews of it, the strangest of which was from right-wing columnist Debbie Schlussel. She gave the film “Four Reagans”. In the same post, she gave The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, America Ferrera’s new film, “Three Marxes”. I don’t comment on this stuff, I just report it.
Also, you’ll see my favorite bad guy of all time, Alan Rickman in the pics. Then did he become, well, “grandfatherly”?
Anyway back to the ever-popular Mr. Rodriguez.

Honestly, I am dying to watch “Bottle Shock”. I mean: Freddy Rodriguez and Alan Rickman and Bill Pullman… I can´t ask for more!

Thanks for posting the pics, Tom. I for one am hoping we get to see more and more of FR next season (despite some of those old rumors!). BTW, saw Bottle Shock last night and it was very good! How could it miss with such an amazing cast? But, I could be biased ;)

Thanks Tom - its great that you’re still reporting on Freddy, despite any kind of rumors. I am definitely looking forward to seeing BottleShock and more Gio come S3.

Freddy is looking great and so is Elsie. I really want to see the movie, but it wasn’t released here so I’ll just wait till it’s on DVD.
Off course, I’m looking forward to seeing more of Gio. He’s great fun.

His hair is back :). Not at long as before, but it’s getting there (I liked his long hair much better)! And just a question: Since Chris Gorham is basically no longer a part of the UB cast (*sob sob sob*), will you cover his news too? And what about Freddy when he’s off the show? Just wondrin’.

Great photos, Tom. Thanks for posting. FR’s hair is looking good! Do you believe a few months ago you were asking whether anyone actually found him attractive. Glad to see that you’ve seen the light! I’m glad to hear there’s talk about lots more Gio on UB this season. I hope the talk is coming from the writers and producers of UB. The show just won’t be the same if there’s not some of the inimitable Getty banter and Getty chemistry and Getty love!

Thanks for the freddy article…didn’t care for him at first, but he is growing on me since watching reruns of Ugly Betty..I was more into CG, but if he comes back for more episodes then the loss of CG won’t be as bad.. I think they should explore the relationship between Betty & Gio..

Freddy looks great! I love his hair this length, but I wouldn’t complain if he grew it out more. I also am starting to lean towards wanting to see Gio with facial hair after seeing all these great pics from his Bottle Shock promotion. Anyway, thanks a bunch for posting the pics, Tom!

GAWD I love Freddy. I am PRAYING that Betty chooses him so he can be on for at least another season. I’ll be so heartbroken if he leaves :( He and Betty have chemistry like no other.
