Video: America Ferrera On Regis and Kelly

As promised, here is the video of America Ferrera appearing on Live with Regis and Kelly.

George Lopez was hosting with Kelly Ripa (Regis Philbin must have been off somewhere hosting a game show), but this made for nice banter because Lopez mentioned that he and Ferrera are good friends.

America spent the first segment talking about what it’s like being in New York (she really needs to go into politics when she gets tired of acting – she is incredibly diplomatic).  She also used the occasion to announce that Regis and Kelly will be guest starring on Ugly Betty.  Ripa was quite annoying in the setup of the announcement, but she is always annoying without Regis.

Ferrera spent the second half talking about The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2.  She brought up the fact that she’s been doing Shakespeare since she was around 8 years old.  They played a clip which was quite good.

America looked wonderful in red, just a Ripa commented.
