Teen Choice Awards Air Tonight

Ugly Betty is well represented in nominations for Teen Choice Awards 2008 (4 nominations). The awards show, hosted by none other that Miley Cyrus, airs tonight at 8 EDT on FOX.
The show was actually taped last night (Aug 3rd) to be aired tonight. Michael Urie was there. He was also nominated for Choice TV Actor in a Comedy; here is his arrival photo:
I absolutely “LOVE” that tie! As I find arrival photos from any other Ugly Betty stars (Vanessa Williams and America Ferrera had nominations), I’ll post them here.

i saw the results on a website, and frankly all i will say is that i am dissapointed. but hey, award shows mean nothing. as long as fans love the show and show their love for the actors and the show, who needs awards shows anyway?
I’m not surprised that UB didn’t get much of anything. I mean, to begin with, the votes were decided by teens. So, I never expected America to win out over Miley, or for UB to win out over Hannah Montana. Ed Westwick vs. Vanessa Williams? Yeah, I’m sure that was a hard decision for the voting teens out there, LOL.
I don’t mind Steve Carell winning over Michael Urie, though. They’re both exceptionally funny actors, IMO.
i don’t think many teens in america watch ugly betty, nor understand the concepts and the themes the show tries to portray, in addition to the storylines. which are very geared towards older audiences. which begs the question if that is the case, then why were they selected in the teen choice awards? never mind. i was dissapointed michael didn’t win, as he is my favourite as marc on UB
They practically lie when they say it’s “Teen Choice” the producers ultimately choose the winners.
I’m 18 and Ugly Betty is my FAVorite show. Definitely beats Hannah Montanna LOL.
sweet- you have good taste LOL. this is practically one of the reasons why i dislike awards shows. most of the results do NOT represent public opinion, or be it the fans opinion. i would say though that whilst i did state that ugly betty highlights adult issues and themes, it doesn’t mean to say that kids and teens cannot watch and enjoy it because it is highly entertaining and enjoyable

I am 14 and I have a lot of friends who watch Ugly Betty (and understand it). LOL
I voted almost everyday for UB, but I’m not suprised they didn’t do well. The other shows like Gossip Girl and Hannah Montanna are definetely more popular with people my age.
Ugly Betty is still my favorite by far!!
I dont like Miley Cyrus,cuz I dont think she is good actress on Hannah Montanna,but I dont know her well for my opinion.Real life she is okay person.I wish Ugly Betty won at Teen choice award,but I heard America Ferrera won from Emmy and Golden Globe award and other wins.She is very good actress
