Regis And Kelly To Make Appearance On Ugly Betty
America Ferrera appeared on Regis and Kelly today, and used the occasion to announce that the hosts, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa will appear on Ugly Betty during the season premiere!
Silvio Horta did hint that the season 3 premiere would be huge - obviously if Regis is involved, you know something big is going to happen.
It’s been previously announced that Ripa’s husband, Mark Consuelos, will appear in the third episode. So, at least they get to keep it all in the family.
I think this is a hidden side effect of the show filming in New York: many celebrities who are based in New York can now make guest appearances. Ugly Betty has always had incredible guest appearances. The Big Apple angle just allows the show to have guest that we may not normally see on other shows.
Although, Lindsay Lohan would appear on the show in either coast, I think.
BTW, as soon as it’s available, I’ll try to post video of Ferrera’s appearance on R&K.

Hey Tom I can´t wait to see the America Ferrera interview clip. She is always lovely on TV.

n the episode, magazine editors Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams) and Alexis Meade (Rebecca Romijn) appear on “Live with Regis and Kelly” to promote the new issue of Mode magazine. With Wilhelmina at the helm for the first time since taking over from Alexis’ brother, Daniel, the two hosts can’t help but put Alexis on the hot seat.
Also notice the mention of the recurring roles of:
“Rebecca Romijn as Alexis and Freddy Rodriguez as Gio are recurring guest stars. ”
Yeah, seems like Freddy will be appearing in more than one episode after all… he´s keeping his “recurring guest star” status… YES!

Yeah, I read about that whole spoiler on Alexis and Willy from the B&B comm - and I think it’s about DAMN TIME that they both take the heat in public! Daniel has always tried to give leeway to his sister, but what does she do? She leaves him in the dust. This time, Alexis needs to answer up for what she did to Daniel.
And I don’t mind if Willy gets burned either. In fact, I hope we get a whole lot of role reversal this coming season - with Daniel succeeding over Willy a lot more. ;)
