I really enjoyed the second season and I did want to see more of Betty growing into her own. However, I did think that Gio was contributing to Betty growing up. His encouragement to be more open minded and to chase her dreams made the show feel real and hopeful. I still want to see the Betty/Gio relationship but use that storyline to help Betty become stronger and to really pursue her dreams.

We need more drama than comedy. That’s why the show worked so perfectly the first season. A balance of the two.

this is the news we wanted to hear. at least that with the third season there seems to be more scope and focus and a sense of direction of where the show and its chracters are heading.

the second season was a bit of a dissapointment, in contrast to the first and only improved towards the end during the last couple of episodes.

but silvio seems to be on the right track- hopefully this will be a massive improvement and i’ll be looking forward to it immensely, as a fan

Finally some juicy spoiler about something else from the triangle Henry/Gio/Betty. I’m particolary happy to have news about Marc and Amanda (regards her, the things Horta said smells flashback to me!)

oh finally Horta speaks! I like what he said. I am glad they are picking up the pieces of a really difficult season 2. I am so happy about the new direction he´s taking with the show. i want to see the season 1 Betty back, no more sadness and bitter stories. I want comedy and fun! Yay! For Marc and Amanda and Cliff (I missed you Cliff!).
I hope he remembers the good things about last season. Like Gio, though. Especially now they are focusing in a more “grown up” Betty (goodbye highschool romance plots, bring sexy back!). Yeah, I like a romance every now and then… I hope Freddy returns midseason and join the cast.

What he said sounds really good. I think every show goes downhill slightly in the second season and usually picks up again,hopefully this will happen with UB. Personally I wasn’t a Henry or Gio fan so a lot of S2 wasn’t that interesting. Glad to hear we’ll be getting more Marc/Amanda too.
