OMG, I’m such an idiot. In my quest to get you Ugly Betty Emmy nomination news, I overlooked something that should make every Ugly Betty fan happy:
Ashley Jensen will be at the 60th Annual Emmy Awards as a nominee. She was nominated as Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Miniseries Or A Movie for her portrayal as Maggie Jacobs in HBO/BBC’s Extras: The Extra Special Series Finale.
I thought Ashley was absolutely beautiful at last year’s Emmy’s -perhaps she’ll look even more beautiful on stage!
I am so thrilled she was nominated for Extras! I LOVE that show and she has such great chemistry with Gervais.

well considering that vanessa williams and america ferreira have been receiving plaudits for their performances on ugly betty, its great to read that ashley has had some success of her own. even if it is not for appearing on ugly betty.
