More Set Photos of America Ferrera – Ugly Betty Season 3

As promised, here is another set of photos of America Ferrera on the set, filming what has been descibed as a “fair” scene for Ugly Betty’s season 3, in Dumbo, NYC.

I’m glad to see that Betty has gone back to having little fashion sense (kind of like me). But I always went for that Cindy Lauper look back in the day. 
There is a little bit of intrigue in the pics. The girl behind America Ferrera in the above pic has a large “A” on her cape. The set is emblazoned with multiple “P” adorned columns. Do we have another contest going on, as in episode 2.18, Jump? Who knows were they are going with this.
Thanks to everyone for posting links to other as many photos as possible. I can’t post them all, because I want to stay all legal and stuff, but it’s great to have a single place where they are all referenced.
I’m getting pretty excited!

I’m definitely excited just seeing them film again! Let’s just hope that another strike doesn’t derail them. *sigh*
BTW, I saw a few pictures of Eric Mabius looking slightly unshaven as well, and he and America were photographed sharing a scene! That definitely excited me.
Hopefully, it’s one of many scenes between them – especially since Daniel Jr. seems to be playing around with Betty in several of those pics. *lol*

Hey Nena – so far, I’ve only seen one picture of America and Eric filming together, and I saw it over at Wenn images. (They appear to be walking together and talking in that scene. Based on the details in the pic, I think it’s right after Daniel Jr. sprays the silly string on Betty.) Also, there are a few pictures of Eric fixing the microphone on himself. Most of them look like the one in the link below:

Thanks for the pix! I miss this show SO much.
I gotta say, though, I disagree about the fashion direction. It might be essential to the show that Betty is awesomely non-conformist, but she still needs to evolve. And the weird thing is, she was! In the last several episodes of S2, she was totally luminous and they were putting together her wardrobe with a little more subtlety. Makes sense for a babe with two guys fighting over her.
I blame Patricia Field (their new NY costume designer), who loves to make every woman look like a cartoon character. Somebody needs to restrain her.

I noticed in one of the pictures that Betty doesn’t have on her signature B necklace. I wonder if it’s permanent or just for the premiere.
I’m really happy to see new pictures of Season 3! Now I just need to see if I see Christopher Gorham or Freddy Rod in any of them.
It’s strange and sudden to see her fashion sense has gone back to well…clueless, especially since last season she was kinda starting to actually match a little! Ah well, back to old Betty I guess!
On wireimage.com they have a few more pics, and you can see Michael Urie in a few of them, so it must be a Mode thing.

Well, now I understand what Horta meant by saying that Betty will move down the line fashion wise in S3. But I must admit she still looks cute

Personally, Betty’s outfit doesn’t bother me too much. Maybe it fits in with whatever storyline they’re doing. But I don’t think it’s necessary for her to wear eye-popping fashions like this all the time. In fact, I hope that isn’t the case for every episode.
Nooooooooo!!! Bring back Eduardo, STAT!! As someone who is in the fashion industry I can say for certain that the outfit Betty is wearing these photos is TOO STYLISH! Come on Pat, Betty looks like a Harajuku Girl here. Everything that she has on looks DESIGNER. I respected Eduardo Castro’s vision and even remember reading that he felt “Betty was a hard character to dress” because her character is so multifaceted. Wish he could’ve made the “jump” to NYC!
The nature of the scenes was being discussed in MGSG and Angel25 (a new Getty angel) figured it could be related to one of the Meade magazines called Player (it was all about hot chicks and gameboys) which we saw in Grin and bear it. She also mentioned that Betty is seen reading the magazine in some of the pics but I’m not sure which ones. Anyway, it sort of fits with the letters on the girls’ outfits
