Lindsay Lohan Not Submitting Her Name For Emmy
I’ve avoided this story like the plague, because it’s just so silly. Lindsay Lohan was featured in the season finale of Ugly Betty for, what, 60 seconds or less? Yet, over the past two weeks, it has been (I hope) sardonically reported in every news outlet and blog imaginable that Lohan would not be submitting her name for consideration for an Emmy for her guest appearance.
I submit to you the following commentary…
Duh.
Now, I know there’s some history here, what with Katherine Heigl dissing the Grey’s Anatomy writers when she withdrew her name from consideration for an Emmy, but Lindsay Lohan? Was Lohan really going to be seriously considered anyway?
You would think that some sites were inserting the word Lohan into their sites needlessly, because everyone knows the words Lohan, Lindsay, Lilo, or, say Britney are sure ways to increase traffic to your site.
It’s also always good to insert a photo of Linsday Lohan into any story you can.
Now, I would say that putting the word Lohan in a story just to say Lohan would be an unscrupulous thing for a writer to…

I can understand her not putting her name in. Yes, he had no chance, but losing to Britney (if she wins)? - No fun.
