Ana Ortiz Guest Stars on Army Wives

June 17, 2008 by Tom

Ana OrtizUgly Betty’s Ana Ortiz, who seems to be getting a lot of work lately, is going to have a guest starring role on Army Wives. This of course, as she prepares for the move to New York City.

On Lifetime’s hot summer series, Ortiz will play Sandi, a litigious waitress who gets mixed up with Roxy (Sally Pressman) and Trevor (Drew Fuller).

A litigious waitress? Cool! The role seems perfect for her. Down-to-earth, and fiesty!

Army Wives is one of Lifetime Network’s most successful shows, last week coming in as the highest rated basic cable drama among women with 2 million viewers in the women 25-54 demographic.

With all the disappointments we’ve discussed in season 2, one bright spot was Ana Ortiz, and the development of Hilda. The only miss was her run-in with Gina Gambarro, but otherwise, from episode 2.1 (How Betty Got Her Grieve Back, which Ortiz owned), Hilda has been one of the most interesting characters on Ugly Betty.

Here’s to seeing Ana Ortiz in even more roles!

Did Ana Ortiz have a face lift?? Looks like to me.

  2. Harsh Ranjan says:

The Army Reserve is a diverse organization, full of people from varying civilian occupations. The U.S. Army Reserve is rooted in the tradition of the

American Colonists who would serve, protect and defend this country whenever, wherever it was needed. George Washington and Alexander Hamilton proposed a

contingency force to support the Army that would be centrally controlled by the Federal Government.
