Video: Vanessa Williams Opens The TV Land Awards

Here is video of the lovely Vanessa Williams, in her opening segment as host of the 2008 TV Land Awards last night. It’s great to see her outside the role of evil Wilhelmina on Ugly Betty.

Even though she seemed to be out of her element (a little), Vanessa has that “something”; she carries the room – no matter the size of the room she’s in.

And how about that pink dress? Watch her entrance: she really owned it. She gives hope to those of us who have seen a few summers.
