Michael Urie At 2008 ‘Glammies’

Guess who is spending some Ugly Betty downtime across the pond? No other than Marc St James himself, Micheal Urie!
He was in London for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2008 (or “Glammies”), and looking pretty stylish, I might add.
I’ll be honest, it looks weird to see Urie out and about without Becki Newton hanging onto his arm. They seem connected at the hip sometimes, even at events that have nothing to do with Ugly Betty. He is most definitely Newton’s “work husband”.
As for the awards themselves, it looks like it was quite an evening. Urie’s pal Victoria Beckam and the rest of the Spice Girls won Best Band, Hayden Panettiere won the “Aussie Hair Care Newcomer” award, Kelly Osbourne won the Theatre Actress award, and there were many, many more that you can read about here.

Just a general wondering,when you say it looks weird to see Urie without Newton, do you mean it like “Thank God they’re finally not together” or just that its odd because it doesn’t happen often?
He looks spiffy and like he is having a good time. Thanks for posting the pictures.
OMG – I meant that it’s odd to not see them together. There was a stretch at the beginning of season 2 where it seemed like Newton and Urie were NEVER apart.
