Video: Vanessa Williams ET Interview

Vanessa Williams will be hosting the TVLand Awards on June 15, and our friends at Entertainment Tonight have a behind the scenes look and an interview with the fabulous Ms Wilhelmina.

I love how, in the promo, Williams calls out Betty White. In the infamous episode of Ugly Betty (episode 2.10 – Bananas For Betty), one of the funny subplots was about Betty White, appearing as herself, publicly embarassing Wilhelmina in order to further her own career. I loved this plot, and had it not been thrown to an already busy episode, it would have been my favorite.

As to the interview, Williams is quite the politician refusing to name a favorite show. She also mentions how the channel “TVLand” is geared more toward people her age (which also happens to be my age). As long as Vanessa Williams is around, I’ll never feel old.

Vanessa Will be taking advantage of the time for costume changes, so I can’t wait to see what diva outfits she wears, and just how much she’ll host the show in character.

Honored at the awards show will be ROBIN WILLIAMS, JONATHAN WINTERS (my personal favorite), the casts of ‘Roseanne‘ and the ‘Golden Girls.‘
