An Early Review For Ugly Betty Season Finale

David Hinkley of the NY Daily News has screened the Ugly Betty finale (giving it four out of five stars), and he drops in a few more hints about what will happen.
Now, Hinkley doesn’t reveal anything new about content, but method. He makes it clear that Lindsay Lohan’s appearance is very brief. I figured it would be, there just wasn’t enough time, and the creative reason for her appearance in this season’s finale is for introduction only.
(One nitpick thing I’d like to add. In the high school flashback scenes, Ameri-Betty has perfect teeth. OK, I know it’s just a TV show, but for some reason, it bothers me).
Hinkley also mentions Naomi Campbell’s appearance, and loves the fact that she makes fun of herself (I’ll give some details, which most of us have seen in the promos, after the jump).
The rest of the preview/review goes over the main story lines. As has been hinted, Coach Diaz (Eddie Cibrian) is apparently going to reveal something to Hilda about his past, “and she has to decide if that’s a path she wants to walk.” Hmmmm.

Apparently in Naomi Campbell’s at-bat, while she sashays to the plate, her cell phone rings. When she reaches for it, everyone in the ballpark ducks. For those of you who don’t know Campbell’s history, go here.
I’m glad to see she can make fun of herself. Hopefully, we’ll see some of that spirit out of Lindsay Lohan next season.
Speaking of next season, Hinkley makes absolutely NO reference to Madonna, nor does he hint about a previously unknown superstar cameo, so scratch my idea about a Madonna appearance this week.
The review also makes it very clear that a LOT is going on in this episode (it should have been 2 hours IMHO), but we already knew that.
Are you sure Ameri-Betty’s teeth were perfect? It sounded to me like she was wearing in some fakes. Remember the Trina flashback from Betty’s anti-prom? She sounds like she was drooling a little bit in the finale flashback too. Overbite much? Maybe…IDK
She had quite the overbite, braces are often used to fix overbites like that, even if the teeth are straight.
agree… Betty’s teeth aren’t perfect, she has a huge overbite just like in her prom flashback.Like I said before… not too excited about LL being on, especially after the big “stealing coat affair”. She needs to get her “act” together before rewarding her with roles on shows. As for Diaz, pretty curious about what his storyline is, I think it has something to do with Santos.

Okay, so i just finished watching the season finale and kinda felt a little dissapointed…i think it was to much to soon…maybe they felt like they needed to do some catching up since the strike?? I dunno, I felt like it was like BLAM-O! Way way to many things for me to daydream about and to be honest the only thing i really and truly honestly care about is betty/gio/henry triangle. Personally I have this feeling she didnt go with anyone and just went to find “herself” somewhere. They didnt really lean to much to gio or henry. So I am at a loss as to who betty chose or did not choose??
personally I thought the finale was disappointing. Two weeks ago Daniel and the family are connecting again, and now Daniel is out and Alexis doesn’t care. It was too much.

omg, I remember the trina flashback?! I think Betty’s teeth were crooked. Hey, what happened to Trina?Lol they should show her now and she and Betty should get into a big fight ! Betty should kick her butt!
