Silvio Throws A Curve: Betty, Meet Lindsay Lohan!

I’ll be doggonned.
After Silvio Horta had put to bed any idea of a Linsday Lohan appearance on Ugly Betty this season, this morning our friend Ausiello at TV Guide has a bombshell: Lohan is in advanced talks to appear in the season 2 finale. Ausiello’s tone makes it sound like it’s almost a given. Wow.
But, then, the news gets even more shocking. Lohan is in talks to appear on the show in a story arc next year. NOT the three-episode arc we’ve heard about, but possibly up to eight episodes!!! Holy cow.
Apparently, she’ll still play the “hapless fast-food worker” character we’ve previously heard about (although this has yet to be finalized). To be honest, if she can keep her act together, this could be nothing but good for both her and Ugly Betty.
Just look at what Britney Spears‘ appearance did for How I Met Your Mother. The only difference is, Lohan can really act.
I wonder how she’ll do amongst the workaholics that make up the Ugly Betty cast. Maybe they’ll be a good influence on Lindsay?
So, what do you think of the almost certain possibility of Lilo becoming an Ugly Betty recurring character?

8 eps?? wow…not super thrilled she is going to be on, but I wouldn’t mind maybe 2 episodes. I wonder what characters she will mostly be involved with, hmmmm?
Wow 8 episode,but that so late for Lindsay Lohan join Ugly Betty for 3 episode this year and I hope she might join Ugly Betty next year.

I wasn’t happy about this initially, but I’m resigned to it now. You have a point that she can actually act, and Tony Plana seemed excited about her storyline when it was conceived for this season, so I suppose we have to trust that it will be a good thing for the show and part of bolstering the Queens group story.
