OMG! Ugly Betty Season Finale Softball Pics!

This is the height of awesomness. They recently filmed the softball game sequence for the season finale of Ugly Betty (episode 2.18). Ugly Betty News has behind the scenes photos of the filming! And, of course, there’s a spoiler or two, so I’m putting most of them after the jump.
It should be no surprise that the uniforms for both teams are absolutely beautiful. Beautiful and softball, they just don’t seem to go together, do they? The designers on the set, both costume and set designers, have discovered the use of orange as an accent color.
Wilhelmina Slater will be returning to Mode in episode 2.17. Well, it appears that things will be patched up enough for her to participate in the big game. AND, she’s not on the Elle team! Vanessa Williams looks great!
It’s going to be a comedy of errors – I mean, who expects corporate employees of high fashion magazines to be any good at softball? Oh, and Naomi Campbell looks to be hilarious. I don’t know if the cell phone/Blackberry was part of the script, an interruption, or if the photo was taken during a break.
There are two interesting things here. The first is, of course, who is present. We had been assuming that a certain nerdy accountant would be in Tucson at this point. Also interesting, is who is NOT in the pics. It doesn’t mean anything really (the photographers were focused on Naomi Campbell and America Ferrera. But, I was REALLY hoping to see a behind the scenes glimpse of Michael Urie in uniform [edit: Nevermind. That's him in the orange outfit. I missed it because I thought the guy was a little too fit to be Urie...whoops]. And I’m REALLY hoping David Blue and John Cho were present. This game really needs Cliff and Kenny.
David Blue comments here from time to time – so I’ll ask: were you there? Were most of the recurring characters there?
I am so psyched for this episode!

Wow, I didn’t think they’d all be in the game. If Gio and Henry show rivalry too much, Betty might end up choosing herself in the end…

By the way, Vanessa can still look gorgeous even in a baseball uniform. She is amazing.
And Henry is still there. The three of them. I have the feeling this is going to be some episode! Can’t wait.

Tom, Michael Urie is there. He is the guy all in the inappropriate orange outfit on the right in your first picture right by Amanda in her inappropriate outfit…I love how they are doing their own thing, looks hi-waitforit-larious.

Spoiler: David Blue doesn’t have any episodes this season, so if we want to see Cliff we will have to wait until next year.

Elizabeth – thanks (I corrected myself in the OP). I honestly didn’t think that could be Urie because he is always featured as such a…in Wilhelmina’s words…pansy, the pectoral muscles in the photograph threw me off. I assumed it was someone else.
i am super-psyched for the season finale. i could have sworn i saw a picture somewhere of charlie AND henry on a plane together for one of the upcoming episodes. i thought for sure he wouldn’t be back from tucson quite so soon. hmmmm!
No problem, Tom–yeah, Michael Urie is quite the hottie, they just dress him really funny and he always acts like such a goof when he is Marc that people often don’t notice.
I cant believe Gio are stand together with Henry and Betty,I think Henry jealous and dont like Gio.Cant wait see the episode for season finale
I am so glad that Henry is there! But Gio…ugh…why is he on the Mode team? He doesn’t even work there.
