Here are some wonderful photos of Ugly Betty’s Becki Newton and Micheal Urie at the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, recently held at the Kodak Theater in Hollywood.

Ugly Betty won Outstanding Comedy Series for the second year in a row. As Silvio Horta was making supposedly serious acceptance speech, Micheal Urie and Becki Newton played class clowns. Urie pulled on-set dresser Giovanni Aurilia to the front of the stage. “He’s really strong,” Urie cooed. “Open your jacket. Pick up Becki [Newton]—so strong!”
As you can see from the pics, Aurilia did just that.
I think yellow is a beautiful color on Becki Newton. What do you think?

Aw, Tom just because Henry may be leaving does that mean Chris Gorham doesn’t get a mention of being at the event representing Ugly Betty too? hee
Becki shines! Michael’s wonderful! They are great friends. It’s amazing how great they work together and when on their own too.
Whoops – sorry about the oversight. None of my sources mentioned Chris, but I should have known better. The cast likes to hang together.
BTW, Instant Connection disappeared (at least for me) for a while yesterday. I was afraid it was permanent, which would be an absoute shame. I still think there’s more Benry fans than any other Betty shippers.

The site is currently up and running. It disappeared for all of us for a bit. We’ve been hanging out at the chat room while waiting for I-C’s return. Some of the newer posts were, unfortunately, deleted but we are trying to post news/events/spoilers on the message board.
BTW: Chris Gorham appeared on the Martha Stewart show today. Hope people can still catch it on their local channels or someone with the tech know-how can post the clip.

When I saw the pictures of Michael Urie, Becki Newton, Christopher Gorham, and Silvio Horta the other day I wondered what the story was behind those goofs having some guy pick Becki Newton up–thanks for telling it!
