Ugly Betty Episode 2.17 Episode Photos

ABC has realeased a (very) small set of promo photos from Ugly Betty episode 2.17 (The Kids are Alright). Here is a synopsis of the episode (Benry fans – avert your eyes!)

Betty, still missing Henry, fights her attraction to Gio, but later finds herself stuck with him when both volunteer to chaperone Justin’s middle school dance. Meanwhile, Hilda tries to get Coach Diaz (guest star Eddie Cibrian) to notice her; Amanda agrees to do a reality show with her dad, KISS rock legend Gene Simmons; and Daniel feels the heat when Wilhelmina makes her triumphant return to Mode amid a media frenzy. Larry King appears as himself.

• Daniel on Larry King. Does King hold the record for most appearances on television and movies as “himself”? Anyway, Daniel looks great here, and hopefully is getting out whatever message he is there to convey.
• Daniel, Alexis and Claire leaving a building to a media frenzy. The sign on the door says “SZY Media Corporation” (I think it’s “media”)
• More of Daniel, Claire, and Alexis. They seem to be in a Britney-like media crush

No doubt this has something to do with the return of Wilhelmina, who is going to cause an uproar, as usual.

As far as the “Betty, still missing Henry” thing goes, I’ll say it right now: I don’t think Henry is leaving the show permanently. I know all the hints have been out there, but geez,Louise Chris Gorham has a lot of fans! Anyway, I think they’re going to ride the love triangle story line as long as possible.

But, if you are a Benry or Getty fan, keep a close eye on both of their imdb pages. If you see non-UB projects, especially television projects, the actor is probably moving on. This is how we figured out last summer that Santos wasn’t coming back.

It would appear that Gene Simmons is going to ask Amanda to be on “Family Jewels” or a (Jewels-like show). I still don’t think we’re going to see Simmons’ real kids, but it would be cool.
